Well now that Wade and Bosh are going to Miami, they're gonna need to fill their empty team up with players.

T-Mac is looking for a contract this offseason and Miami has some money to spare and slots to fill.

Do you think he would be a good fit with Miami? He could play SG alongside Wade at PG or come off the bench.

I feel like it's a risk Miami should be willing to take, sign him for cheap.

definitely could see it happening...i think it's going to depend on the other additions though...tmac isn't a pure shooter and you're going to need one, preferable korver, alongside bosh/wade. Korver isnt the best , but most realistic acquisition.

They may even go after AI....they need to jump on both of them, being former allstars with alot to prove and ringless...theymay settle for the minimum at this point to have a chance to "have the last laugh"

Yeah, T-Mac makes some sense. A veteran who will probably play for not much money. But they need someone who can actually play long stretches.

Plus IIRC, Wade and T-Mac are cool with each other.

I think a shooter would fit better though. They would definately need a shooting PG though.

I don't think the Knicks want him.

I think his days of the 2 are over, he could legitimately make a play for the starting 3 there IF this offseason is successful in rehab.

However, if the Lakers are actually considering signing Tmac, he would prolly go with them, there's no chance of losing in the first round with them haha, unless the face us!

b/c of what he said last year prior to joining the knicks. and playing on a knicks team will give him more playing time (assuming he comes off the bench) b/c the knicks outside of lebron/amare would not be that deep.

how would he get playing time (or even prove himself) when they just came off a championship and are fairly deep?

you got to factor in if the team wants t-mac to join them. the only reason the knicks got t-mac was to dump salary to get lebron.

not surprised, after last summer why would he hype it up and tape it? As it is, it snot common for players to do it, especially offseason after offseason.

I'm surprised no one is talking about him at the moment.

look at the knicks (or heat's) situation. outside of the top 2 (assuming lebron joins the knicks), they lack other quality players for the most part.

i'm assuming if tmac works out (which he is) this offseason and get into shape (and he's saying via twitter he's aiming to go to his orlando weight), and prove himself say in camp... he'll get a deal.

if the team's expectation is for tmac to be a star again, you're right, he won't get signed. but i'm thinking those teams are looking for tmac to be that "spark" or 3rd or 4th guy in addition to their best playeres, which tmac can do.

via twitter sometime 2 weeks ago, he said his goal is to reduce his playing weight to his orlando days.

i don't think he'll be that good, common sense wise. but if he's healthy (which again is a huge IF), he'll be the best 6th man easily in the L.

i think that's only going to hurt him...he's not going to gain back his speed by dropping weight at his age, especially after this surgery.
