“For me, I just have to take it one day at a time and keep on improving, regardless of how I play," McGrady says. "I just have to gradually keep on improving out on the basketball court. My knee is getting better. It’s just taking time. You just have to be patient with this thing. You can’t force it or rush anything. I just need to go out and do what I can do for the team. “My teammates understand what I’m going through. All of them tell me to keep on pushing. They still have faith in me and that’s the most important thing. Because once your teammates lose faith in you, then you have some problems.” http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Lesson_Learned_Rockets_hope_t-296023-34.html
The revolving door continues ... Just when you thought there was good news on his front, Artest is questionable tonight again. :-/ Barry is probably out. Man, this team has endured some serious adversity this season. I'm just thankful it's not like that cursed 2005-06 season when they were just dropping like flies every week.
I can't remember one healthy season. Oh wait, we never had one either... I suppose these are the good news, but this situation needs to be changed if Rockets want something to achieve in the playoffs and I hope that McGrady regains his full power by the playoffs.
I hope this is all planned. Adelman is resting the players for the eventual playoff run by sitting them every few games.
get better t mac, most people don't understand knee problems and how every case is different, some ppl heal quick, some don't, it's not an issue of character, it's just how it is with the knees man. /just had orthoscopic knee surgery, i kinda know how bad it sucks.
Translation: Please don't trade me. Remember that quote after the Mavs series. "I will be back. We will be back." We've been patiently waiting for the last 4 years. I understand you didn't have the talent/too many injuries to make it happen previously but this year you have all the pieces. We'll see what happens when late April comes.
If T-Mac wants to be here for the team, that's good enough for me. He's busted his ass for the Rockets and performed well. A few bad weeks is not going to spoil it for me. I would also say that it is unlikely that the Rockets could get maximum value by trading him this year anyway.
t-macs looking pretty solid so far. I'm seeing defense and he's running the open court. He's demanding the ball. It's almost like he read the board and is doing everything that he was being called on.
Blah, Blah Blah. Heard all this nonsense before. It's time to get down and get the job done. Something "T-Mac" has yet to do.
Good news. Tmac is finally feeling the pressure and seems to start behaving (meaning trying to play w/ more intensity) again.
