I heard T-Mac and Kobe were good friends. If so, he should call Kobe up this summer and start training with him. Tracy does what Kobe does, no exceptions. If Kobe wants to wake up in the middle of the night and shoot some hoops, tracy will do it too.

These two guys could play 1-on-1, every day. Think of the shape Tracy will be in when he reports to training camp. He will be in the best shape he has ever been in his life.

    Thoughts???

Kobe is too good to train with TMac. TMac does not have what it takes to train with Kobe. Even TMac admits he does not have the kind of drive that Kobe has.

Tmac should try training with his teammates first.

This is secretly a "I want a Tmac puppet commercial" thread.

Tracy is still a very good offensive player, the outcome of them training together would just improve kobes defense and tracys game would remain unaffected lol

What the OP is really saying is that he hopes McGrady will acquire some of Kobe's abilities by working out with him.

It doesn't work that way, especially for a 30-year-old player. McGrady is what he is and that is all he will be for the rest of his career.

I laughed. The plan would completely backfire. We'd be playing Game 7 in the WCF next season and Kobe would make a crucial defensive stop that gets traced back to the work he put in defending McGrady over the summer. :D

I'd prefer Dream to help Yao out some more this summer on his game so he can be a MVP.

    I like T-Mac.

I want him concentrating on rehab and working on his jumper.

If T-Mac asked, Kobe would prolly blast him in the media.

Reporter: So I heard T-Mac wants to train with you during the offseason?

    Kobe: Who?

Reporter: Tracy McGrady, Houston Rockets shooting guard

Kobe: Ha, I rather play Sue Yue one on one..

The main thing T-Mac would get by training with Kobe is stamina. Kobe has the best stamina in the NBA and that's what allows him to dominate games in the end. It's an edge, and it's very easy to gain by just working hard.

McGrady should mostly focus on getting his knee healthy, getting into shape, and improving his jumpshot.

If Yao works out with Olajuwon all summer, he will put up a quadruple-double at some point next season. He'll also lead the league in rebounding and blocked shots while suddenly becoming more agile and able to beat his man off the dribble.

Brooks should work out with CP3 so he can develop elite court vision and decision-making. He should also work out with D-Will so he can grow taller and add some bulk.
