sidenote: LOL @ that clown sitting in the back (presumably wayne hall?) proclaiming that the bulls would still win the chip without pip. if that's wayne hall, his basketball acumen is almost as bad as that of his weight training. (those who saw the t-mac training video know what i'm talking about.)

    Quitter-Twin powers ACTIVATE!

    Form of... a water-baby!

    Shape of... a scaredy-p***y!

It's great to see one of the greatest disappointments in Rockets history sticking up for the greatest disappointment in Rockets history.

At least they've got each other. Really warms my heart.

No chance. In fact, I didn't even realize this was up for debate.

He was talking about Pippen on the Bulls.

There are many who believe Jordan would not have won without Pippen.

I still think Jordan would of won some.

I'm from Chicago and I still hear people talking about this.

Really, I mean the two of them truly deserve each other.

I'd say Tmac was worse though. Tmac threw out a surgery announcement just to hurt any chances of a trade to where we had to waste over 50 Million dollars on him for two seasons hurting the team's chances at other players. Pippen just played weak for one season and ran his mouth. They both deserve each other though for sure. They ought to become a couple and move to Daytona Beach.

You replace Pippen with comparable talent, of course. He wasn't irreplaceable; Jordan was. Is that the question? Or is it just remove Pippen and add nothing? That's different.

Idk, the last three they had to add Rodman.

As for the first three, definetely not. Who would help him? Craig Hodges...Horace Grant? BJ!

I realize Pippen was a huge disappointment in Houston, and it certainly didn't end well here, with Pippen forcing a trade. (Rockets management, on a team with Olajuwon & Barkley clogging the lane, hiring Pippen to be a stand-alone, spot-up three shooter is as much at fault as Pippen for taking the money to fill that role. We did look past Rudy T.'s DUIs; why not Pippen's?).

But what is McGrady saying about Pippen that's even remotely controversial? Who would have been comparable talent on those Bulls teams: a prototypical point-forward / all-world defender (Pippen usually guarded the opposing best perimeter player, not Jordan) who was willing to defer to Jordan? Pippen was essential to those Bulls teams; Jordan could not and did not win those titles alone.

I opened the thread after missreading the title. I thought the thread was "T-Mac or Scottie Pippen". Until I saw the video, I was prepared to say...yep, bring Scottie back...in an Adelman offense, we can probably get more out of him than Grady. :p
