Yeah, I don't think he's been on yet. I've been listening since 4:45, and no TMAC. They said something before McLane came on that TMAC was coming up later. Just did a recap on McLane's interview if interested: Thread 116190
How long is this guy gonna drag out the wait for the TMAC interview?? I'm not being very productive right now...
caught him on 97.9...was basically promoting/givin out tickets to his softball game...also they played a screwed/chopped song and asked tmac if he had heard that kind of music growin up or if it just became popular after houston blew up...tmac said he had heard "slowed down" music from the time he was a little kid and would not confirm that houston or dj screw originated that style of music..which the dj's seemed to take pretty offensively (if you know anything about screwed music houston rap artists take much pride in claiming that it was originated here and that dj screw was the first to do it..)
I heard yesterday Tmac would be on the Rula and Ryan show on 104.1 today. I dont know when or what that show is though.
thats a damn shame. t-mac been living in houston for awhile, and he dont even know his history of screwed and chopped music. the screwed up click need to educate this dude about screwed and chopped music, and who originated all this ****.
meh it's not like slowing down music is anything revolutionary. you can't deny that it would be pretty easy for someone else to do it somewhere else before it got big. and I don't like of that boring stuff. so freakin bland when you take the speed out.
Ditto Never understood why everyone liked Screw's music. If I wanted that effect, I would just drink a 5th of vodka before listening to music.
