I just wanted to ask the board if they think that tracy is faking an injury in order to not get traded. I was going to put this in another thread, but I really wanted a poll to see the overall viewpoint of the board. I personally think that there is a strong possibility. His years in the league is closing, and why would he want to get traded to the nets where he might not make it to the playoffs much less get out. So what do u guys think? Once again, sorry if this is not new thread worthy or is already posted somewhere else.
No, why would he fake an injury and embarrass himself like that. Unfortunately he's really that injured.
He's clearly got an injury. Can he play on the injury or does he want to play on the injury? That's a different story.
Somone doesnt read news on him huh? How would it be fake? Did you watch his press conference? Just another simple person trying to get a post count.
tmac, head, hayes, alston, and next 10 first round picks for lebron....get it done....this board is soo funny i love it
To fake an injury that would mean he isn't injured at all. He is clearly injured. Right now he is scared or he's exaggerating the injury a tad bit. I simply think he's scared and he has definitely lost a step. Lets be real here, T-mac hasn't looked good all year. There were no trade rumors at the beginning of the season and he still looked bad.
i'd say yes, but i dont think it's because he doesn't want to get traded. i wouldn't put it past him to do it for that reason though. i think it has more to do with his frustration / unwillingness to accept his regression, which is leading to embarrassment in his play. he's trying to fabricate an excuse for his piss poor play.
I don't think he is faking it. I really hope if they trade anyone its Artest and NOT T-mac. In the playoffs, T-mac has the potential (he might not show it during the regular season) but he gets a lot of attention by opposing teams and can light it up anytime. He rises for playoffs and no one can say he doesn't. I say KEEP T-MAC!!
Bro, I've been a member for like six years and rarely start threads or post. So don't judge me based on ur own presumptions. What I meant was is it as bad as it seems? Does he really need those MRI's or is he just trying to make it look worse so he doesn't get traded.
Also I just realized this. About a month ago people was saying T-mac wasn't playing or wasn't playing hard because he wanted to be traded. ( A lot of people used this theory) Now a lot of the same people have went to the other extreme and claim he isn't playing or playing hard because he doesn't want to be traded.
I believe his knee has been hurting him all season. I believe he didn't rehab properly and that's why it's hurt and weak. I think he was embarrassed by his last game and that's why he's all of the sudden getting MRIs and leaking fake info about needing microfracture surgery and getting 2nd opinions. I don't think he's worried about getting traded, nobody wants him. Anybody interested in his expiring contract will wait til next season.
There is no easy answer to this question. It's my belief his knee has accumulated enough wear and tear to that point where it's affecting his hops and mobility. So rather than putting the hard work in to rehab or strengthen the knee, he's simply embarrassed that his game isn't up to his standards so he's using this whole knee saga as an excuse. Whether his goal is to buy more time (stall til after the deadline) or if his claims are genuine -- we really don't know. That's the main mystery of this whole saga. I'm anxious to make a move and have the deadline pass but finding out T-Mac's *REAL* situation is paramount first. Either you're moving forward with him or without him. It kind of makes a difference, you know?
No way TMAC is faking. He wouldn't miss that dunk like that on purpose. His ego is too big. I'm with DaDakota. I think he is hurting, and is scared of making it worse because he is just not familiar with not having his normal strength/abilities.
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, so this would be my first post. I'm actually glad that I found this place because I love talking about my favorite sports teams. Anyways, on the topic at hand, I definitely don't think Tracy is faking the injury. There is obviously something wrong with him right now. Honestly, I don't have a problem with him seeking another opinion. If he feels that he is injured that much, then that is his decision. If the second opinion comes out and says that there is nothing new that is wrong with him (which is highly likely) and Tracy still wants to continue to sit out, then I think it is about time the team does something about it. Whether it be trading him or sitting him for the year, it would be time to just move on.
i dont think T-MAC is faking injury, his move on the court states that he did not recover from the injury at all,i wish T-MAC well sincerely!
