T-mac is being criticized for eating shark fin soup. Ironically, it comes right after Yao's campaign to encourage others not to eat it. I found that kind of funny. :)

I can't wait for the season to start...

I want some shark fin soup too. I guess it's okay as long as we don't eat all the sharks. Or maybe we should just kill the shark and eat the meat too and develop other dishes so the sharks without fins dont' have to be put back into the ocean. I have heard shark bone soup is healthy.

I do agree we have to kill sharks with more ethics. Letting them bleed to death is mean. It is really not that much more work to chop off the head after taking the fins.

Who gives a crap for sharks... Its not like they mean anything to us. Bastards have been here for 400 million years and we wanna protect them?

Just like the wave of protecting alligators in Florida has led to overpopulation and humans as their food source.........so why do we want to protect sharks..............

Because if we merk/kill all of the sharks off we will see a drastic rise in jellyfish and portugese man of war as sharks are their #1 predators.

I think we should start a "Shark without Fins" foundation and have telethons to raise money to fund the development of immitation shark fin meat that can be manufactured without harming the sharks...

Like, say...humans? I'd say we're pretty high up on the "killing other creatures" list, if not #1.

It's a pre-emptive eating. Just watch, those bastards shamelessly try to attack our shores and steal our freedom every summer. We're just taking it to them first, you're either with us our you're with them. All you shark sympathizers need to stop cheering whenever we lose one of our people to them.

Technically they were here before us, and we are on their shores, to me when people get attacked by sharks i wont lie i laugh because its something i know that will never happen to me. Being a young Trinidadian i've seen sharks snatch up seals on the beach and from that moment on i stayed in water that i could actually see my feet in and wont go out too far in the water period. Thats why you will never see me swimming in galveston and never out more than 10 feet on the beach anything else is a set up for failure.
