Saw this posted on facebook haha! Interesting to note that he's going at full speed now in practice. http://t-mac.com/tmac/blogDetail/2139
why does i feel like the team is hiding somethng from us? the new chron article just said tracy still goes on and off in practice. here tracy said he's been going all out in full practices. what the freak is going on?
This is so freaking awesome lol...everyone is saying something different, just going to sit back with my popcorn and enjoy the drama unfold.
maybe when he practices it is going full speed, but it does make sense to think they are hiding something
When was that article written? I remember reading that too, but I believe it was a while back. I think Tracy is just really excited, and if he's participated in one or two full practices, he's going to make it seem like he's been at it for a while. I dunno.. I don't think he's completely full of **** like most people on here think.. I just think he lets his emotions talk, without thinking things over first. For ex. -He gets upset about how he's playing, 'last season' happens ( the whole Chicago, surgery ordeal). He impulsively made a decision without thinking. -This year, he's getting really excited about his progress, so he's jumping the gun and saying "Hey guys, I'm ready to go. How about the 18th? Okay!" The guy doesn't think things through.. But I hope he is ready to go. I hope his emotions don't lead him to a wrong decision, which ends up injuring him any further.. Sound familiar?
Basically what he is saying is that HE feels he is ready to go. But the doctors need to give him clearance (which they won't), then he can transfer the blame on someone else. Just a nice PR tactic. Don't expect him back anytime soon.
I think that he's probably ready but the Rockets don't want him to come back and mess up the chemistry. They probably want to keep him away from the court for as long as possible. Extremist view, but hey, its weird to have the player and the organization so far apart in their assessment of the situation.
"The problem with that was that Rockets general manager Daryl Morey had already said on Monday that nothing had changed in McGrady's timetable, that he won't play until the team considers him to be 100 percent and that he would need to be checked out in a full practice before he will be permitted to play a game. Next full practice? Nov. 23." This doesn't make sense to me. Aren't they in the middle of a decent break between games? Surely they've had at least one full practice.
jon feign just made a mistake again. we just had a full practice during this break before the mavs game (yesterday's chron talk about it). and i think tracy just went through that one and he probably felt REALLY good and say, "hey, i'm ready to play."
He's quoting Morey from today morning. If Tracy participated for the full practice yesterday, why would Morey say that the Rockets need to see Tracy practice first?
