In light of the 9 pages of comments in the McGrady "disgusted" thread...
Does T-Mac get the support and votes in the latest Best of the Decade poll for his 13 in 35 vs. Spurs??
    http://www.nba.com/alldecade/vote10/

I'd say its definitely better than MJ or LeBron, probably Shaq also - the 2 Kobe's are impressive though and rare. Rare & clutch is why McGrady's performance shines

He is best the best teammate and best at carrying team deep into playoff. Don't you remember his most famous quote?
    "It's on me!"

as chuck said last night of MJ's 51:

kobe had 30 more than him
    of kobe's 62: kobe scored 20 more
    shaq's 61 : kobe still had 20 more
    of lebron's 51: kobe had 30 more

then of course when they showed kobe's 81 chuck goes: so? wilt had 20 more

    haha i love ya chuck

anyone saying they've ever seen a regular season game with a more exciting or improbable ending than Tmac's 13 v 35 is lying or crazy.

dont let your hate cloud your judgment. that was for me the most incredible thing i've ever seen in the NBA

Tracy's performance is way better than 81 points from Kobe. Kobe just needed to take every single shot and he eventually got 81 points. T-Macs performance is something you will never see again.

13 in 35 was amazing to watch but anyone can get lucky for 35 seconds. What Kobe did was an entire GAME of basketball on an insane level. It isn't even close.

    Reggie's 8 points in 8.9 seconds

    .........In the Playoffs

    .........In Madison Square Garden

    .........Against the Knicks

oh, he got fouled and hit two free throws that aren't shown

How is this even close to T-mac's 35 second miracle. I think Steve Novak's 3 against the Kings was more impressive then the Maxwell shot. Great shot but not even close to incredible.

Ok, I wouldn't ever claim TMac was better over-all than Kobe; but now some of us are just making ourselves look like fools.

Haven't you heard? The more recent something is the more worthless it is. It's a basic fundamental law of Clutchfans.

well the play itself was not intended for Maxwell, it was an ally oop pass to Dream, but failed. the ball was then going out of bounds and then maxwell had to stop the ball from going out of bounds, stop himself from going out of bounds and jack up a turnaround 40 footer on one foot.

    and for the TNT choices.

It's not even close, Kobe for 81.

I know right? Kobe is light years better than Tracy but it wasn't by any means "lucky". All of Kobe's teammates were giving him the ball so he could keep on scoring... Not to mention it was the Raptors.

13 in 33.3 gets my vote.

I hate Kobe, but second to Wilt is an achievement. Don't get me wrong, what Tmac did was impressive, but still. 81 points. Do you think you'll ever see anything like that happen in your lifetime again? We've seen the pacers score 11 in something like 9 seconds. We've seen a lot of amazing 30 second sequences that result in a come from behind improbably win, but aside from Wilt and Kobe no one has gotten that many points. Heck, the glorious self proclaimed God's gift to basketball Michael Jordan didn't even get that close.

I think Tmac's performance can be repeated. Someone will have to take a bunch of desperation 3s in a game at some point.

however someone scoring 81 points will be hard to replicate. First of all, jacking up that many shots to begin with is almost impossible.
