No the Iceland team is in China. But they will not be meeting up, due to their busy schedules.

I love how the guy is wearing a bootleg jersey to TMac's arrival. :)

The odds are that a real one costs a few months salary for him, so I wouldn't be too upset. Maybe he's wealthy, but probably not.

Is it wrong that we're marketing the NBA to people that can't afford to even go to a game? They make the shoes, balls and jerseys, but to buy one would be a luxury.

    Maybe that's a question for D & D.

It looks like Tracy, even though he's been a superstar for years now, is pleasantly surprised by his reception when getting off the plane. If he was a superstar before he joined the Rockets, he's an ULTRAstar now and it's pretty much all because he joined the Rockets (and join Yao). How could anyone ever want to be traded from this team? You could score 1.9ppg and still be a rockstar in China lol.

Yeah, Yao on ther other hand doesn't seem to enjoy the media and a crowd like that. From the pictures I saw in the past, the look on Yao's face is always like "Come on, lemme get out of here quick!".

Those pics are the main reason Rockets would not ever consider trading Yao. Not for Duncan, Garnett, Lebron, anyone.

;) Actually many of them can afford that. In Shanghai (Yao's hometown),
$6000/yearly income is very average (assuming $400 monthly salary and
$1200 year-end bonus). They can have a comfortable life with just $3000
    and save the other $3000.

But why would they spend $160 on an authentic jersey when a bootleg
    one only cost $8?
