It is frustrating to watch us lose- but I think the way the team has held up is a real good sign of the motivation.

I personall feel that T-MAC and YAO should both be healthy. I think we should wait until the home stretch starting with the Charlotte Game on the 25th. The odds may be tough- but that would be the sensible thing to do.

No point in getting wins at the cost of injury to your star player. If we are going to be number 8 seed, and we dont have a significant addition to the roster- this would be a season to forget. Add Artest- and this equation will change dramatically- most importantly Tracy will be breathing easier on Defense!

Nothing is settled in the Western Conference- I feel that bottom 4 slots are anyone's guess. A team with 42 wins may still squeak through this year.

i agree, but I'd like for one or the other to keep the team afloat. We're falling behind rapidly and I'd like for Tmac or Yao to win 1 or 2 games while waiting for the other.

i rather have them fully healed and return when they are ready than rush them into battle just to boost morales but risk reinjuring them and seriously.

Tmac's back has taken a beating carrying this team. I'm all for letting him sit untill he's comfotable to play again. Especially if he comes back with a healthy Yao and maybe DA.

We saw them go right into a win streak when they were both on the floor, and I expect the same in a couple of weeks.

I would be ok with this
    but
everyone keeps sayin that Rest will not 'CURE' T-mac's Back
    that
no matter what . .it is an issue he will just have to deal
with for the rest of his career

IF that is the case . . .. why wait on Yao?

Because although resting doesn't cure it...coming back and carrying the whole load...takes a bigger toll on him. If he came back and had Yao to shoulder part of the load, he wouldn't have to take on absolutely everything...which would mean his back takes less of a beating each night.

And I would add- and this with a lot of IF's- IF we get A third Scoring option with the added ability to shurt down an opponent's main scoring weapon- the load will be distributed further. TMac's value is his ability to Close- I could not care less if he scores 40 points every night!

if they return together.. which means we lose another 6 7 games in a row before their return, which means there is no hope we can make playoff.. they may just not return at all. let t-mac return 1st and we win like 3 games, so we still have little hope

    12-23.

45 wins, which is still questionable for the playoffs, means going 33-14, or consistently playing over .700 basketball.

Right now, there are three teams in the league playing .700 basketball: Detroit, San Antonio, and Dallas.

When we had both Tmac and Yao at the same time this season, our winning percentage is right up there with the big boys.

I can't help but keep speculating what could have been if both of them have stayed healthy... :(
