Maybe you should drop some money in the tip jar so you can use the search function to find the old thread that has the video link.

I'm sorry I've never contributed. I don't have any kind of credit card any more. Is there any way I can send money via mail?

You don't really need to use a credit card. You can be creative. I've "auctioned" off some magazines from the championship years in the For Sale section. The winner donated the entire amount to the BBS, and when I verified he was a contributing member, I shipped them off to him. All it cost me was postage.

Another guy sold fudge on here, and donates some money from each order. One time I asked for a Gmail invite, someone from the board sent me one, and I contributed money in his name, he's got search capability now.

I've been curious, how much money do you need to donate? $5? $10? or just however much you want

Being a contributing member doesn't mean search is always available. It does mean that you get access to the board during high traffic times.

The search was turned on recently by Clutch to see how well it would work, and if it would slow things down at all. Right now, obviously, it's off.
