With Artest and T-mac watching from the bench, they can see how good our team is without them..obviously were not going to get far without those two but its good for them to see the team on the court. Both may think that have to do a lot in order for us to succeed but after watching these games, T-mac and Artest hopefully will learn to adjust in a way where they get other players involved and making it easier for them. They can see the strengths and weaknesses and what they can help the team with.... so overall both being out will really help us a lot because they know what they have to help the team with in order to bring us to that next level...so im really anxious to see what happens when both those two come back healthy. With Wafer and Landry both playing excellent, artest landry and wafer will really give us a solid second unit
Yes, this is what I am hoping for....a chance for them to see their teamates have viable NBA skills too. It happened to Dream, he went out with an injury and the team won like 15 straight without him, he realized his teamates were good and he came back a different player who trusted them a lot more. Let's hope Tmac and Ron do the same. DD
I hope the same thing too DD. But recent history has shown that Tmac still hasn't learned. Early parts of last season when McGrady was out with knee troubles, he came back as the 6th man for a few games, and there was all indication that he finally trusted his teammates and would begin to play in the flow of the offense. McGrady was great last season, especially when Yao went down. Then, at the onset of this season, despite his injuries, TMac played like the Tmac of old, playing 1 on 1 basketball, not following the flow of the offense even with Ron and Yao in the lineup. It just seems to me that when Tmac's injured, he'll play the facilitator role, and when he's not, regardless of the players he has around him, he'll be the 1 on 1 isolation Tmac that ultimately inhibits the Rockets from maximizing their potential.
I think Ron will be re-joining the team soon. He was shooting around before the Nuggets game. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EckiUG7bd_M&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EckiUG7bd_M&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
