Was to be expected... it was a nice setup, but Jones' fingers were greased up. Nice try on the save but it went to the opposite team. They should've showed Harden's reaction when it happened.

the speedy Gonzales comments seemed a bit on the racist side...in the way that Lin was cooking with peanut oil:rolleyes:

It would be like a non-black person saying that the ball slipped out of T. Jones' hands because he had KFC grease on the fingers.....

How is this racist? Ginobili is not even Mexican.

I think he is referring to his reckless style of play and changing speed like the Mouse.

It is a character popular in South America. It is not just a Mexican thing, though the character is supposedly from Mex.

If it is not offensive to associate this with those of Latin descent, tell me why Warner Bros. issued this disclaimer:

The cartoons you are about to see are products of their time. They may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in American society. These depictions were false then and are still false today. While the following does not represent the WB view of society, these cartoons are being presented as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as to claim these prejudices never existed.

That had EVERYTHING to do with Manu being from a Latin American country:rolleyes:

reckless play of a Latin American. Wow, have you seen anyone call a non-Latino -Speedy Gonzales? No.

    I don't even care. I'm just saying it's a bit racist imo.

Of course not. You call White people Flash, Asian people Speed Racer, and Black people...
