Just wandering how many Syndey rockets fans are there? and whether you guys are interested in watching the playoffs in a bar?? I feel almost alone in supporting the rockets and I think the atmosphere would be much better if a crowd watches the game, Since we cant get to Toyota Centre i guess the next best thing is in a bar right????
when is game 3? and is it broadcasted on one of the channells? i only watch the games through streamtv....there is 0 atmosphere yeah i got uni tuesday to thursday so I cant actually make those days
Sounds awesome! A bar sounds good as long as it's a weekend game...i've only got my wife to watch the games with and she gets bored out of her brains lol Although i've got a pretty decent screen running at my place, would love to have a get together with some pizza/thai and beers...maybe for Round 2.
I know how you feel in regards to watching it on streamtv. I sit at my computer screaming at the pc while watching the game. I'm hoping fox shows some of the future playoff games involving the rockets, would love to catch up with the few Perth fans.
yeah we would need to know the schedule for fox though (i wouldnt have a clue since i dont watch paid tv) i think they only broadcast it on wednesdays?? what bars do you usually go to in the city?
i dont think there's any games planned in the immediate future on Foxtel for the Rockets. In fact I know this. At best we might get Game 6 or 7 of this series but we all hope it only goes 4/5.
yeah thats what i was thinking but can you just change the channels? and i dont think they have sound
I'd be up man Today at work, i was watching it thourgh fox sports on box scores. I even brought my Mcgrady Jersey to work. Would love to go to Cheers, do they play NBA? What about the Sports bar down in Wynard?
Not too cluey on the sports bars in the city, i don't usually go out that way too much because i can't stand the parking and the traffic, i know that there's Score Bar at Star City and One World Sports at Darling Harbour but i don't know how devoted they are to their NBA supporting customers. Wherever it is though, i'm down...wouldn't miss this for anything! I've got Foxtel at home, i'll keep an eye out on the schedule.
A suggestion for non-US Rox fans who don't get a live simulcast. Have you guys considered getting together and watching one of R2K's downloads? You could pick one guy to do the download and have the rest of the people avoid checking the scores on the internet. I know its not as good as watching it live but it solves the time difference problem.
Just curious as to how there are so many Australian Rockets fans. Maybe easier access to U.S. Websites? It's pretty cool whatever the reason.
god i dont know LoL I guess the Rockets is very internationallly recognised?? more so than any other team?
