Before you b**** about no Pearl Harbor, I felt that the fact that they were on every magazing cover, from Time to Hustler, meant their spot could go to another movie. http://movies.swirve.com/articles/article.cgi?id=movies&num=2 ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
Pearl Harbor. *yawn* the next Titanic, imo. ANd that isn't a compliment btw. Most of those movies you mentioned I'm interested in seeing. I know i dont' want to see Moulin Rouge though. ANd I don't know if it will be good, but i'll see the Final Fantasy movie. It looks very polished, I couldn't believe at times in the preview that it was a cartoon. ------------------ snap crackle pop
There were a few I meant to add at the end, and that was one of them. ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
I'm looking forward to "Swordfish". It was written by Skip Woods, who wrote and directed "Thursday" a pretty cool film with Thomas Jane and Aaron Eckhart. If you haven't seen it, go rent it. here's the trailer for "Thursday" http://www.totaleclips.com/reel/splash.asp?ClipID=e11114 [This message has been edited by outlaw (edited May 21, 2001).]
Hey, Rocketman, i just resaw a movie recently that you might enjoy. It's called Princess Muoneke(sp?). It's a cartoon with voices of Claire Danes, Billy Bob Thorton, and some others. I wouldn't necessarily reccomend little kids to see it, but it's pretty damn good. Also aren't there some other sequels coming out this summer? THe only one that comes to mind is jurassic park 3. I'll probably end up seeing that one too. I don't expect much, but surely it can't be as bad as part 2, esp since they didn't bring back Goldbloom. ------------------ snap crackle pop
Scary Movie 2 is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, aside from the ones already mentioned. I've read a lot about that movie, just haven't gotten around to renting it. ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
I think you're thinking about Gabe Muoneke, the ex-UT power forward. And he wouldn't take kindly to being called "princess". The movie you're thinking of is Princess Mononoke - and it did rawk. ------------------ Bingbong was set up, led to an untimely death in the prime of his life for no other reason than pure malice. Things like that do not go unavenged. Sometimes it spills out onto the field of play.
American Pie 2, Rush Hour 2, Dr. Dolittle 2 ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
lol Sam, I knew I heard that name from somewhere. Another movie I saw recently was Red Planet. Pretty good sci-fi movie. Everything I had expected from Mission to Mars(**cough**flop**cough**) and then some. Scary movie 2? uh, yeah, I think I'll check that out right after Dr. Doolittle 2(insert sarcasm here). Rush Hour2 will probably be decent though. ------------------ snap crackle pop [This message has been edited by CriscoKidd (edited May 22, 2001).]
It's "Princess Mononoke". The bass player in my band has been trying to get me to borrow it for months, but I've yet to see it. I do hear good things of it, though. ------------------ Handsomer than Buster Poindexter since November of 2000.
I almost rented it yesterday, but I wasn't in the mood for a 135 minute cartoon! I will someday though. I did rent Fever Pitch, based on Nick Hornby's (High Fidelity) memior of the same name. It's about his undying love for his football team. Something we can all relate to! ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
If you have the movie channel "Starz Theater" they are airing "Princess Mononoke" several times this week. Today 5/23 (CT) 4:35 PM 5/24 12:35 AM 8:35 AM 4:35 PM 5/25 12:35 AM 8:35 AM 4:35 PM ------------------
How about Planet of the Apes or The Fast and the Furious. The clips from Planet of the Apes look pretty awesome. ------------------ The ox is slow but the Earth is patient.
I'm trying not to think anything about either, Timing. I've found that expectations have almost has much to do with liking a movie as the movie itself. I'd like to think that they'll both be fun, but I've made that mistake in the recent past (Driven) and I was waaaaaaaaay wrong. ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
Timing just for you! Planet of the Apes! OH YEAH!!!! http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/Forum7/HTML/002954.html ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
