I was shocked to see the Male tribe struggle on the balance beam. Instead of Ryan, I'd have voted off Daniel the Asian guy from Houston. He fell off the beam four times! Funny how the united men have already split into alliances.
Also, I didn't think the women were hot. I guess being stranded for 3 days has the same effect as a couple of beers. Nice but not hot. Nothing like Elizabeth.
funny the men had a fire and shelter built the first day and the women... washed their thongs and buffs
daniel the asian guys is a dork. always trying to be witty with his stupid one-liner remarks. i knew too many dorks like him back at school. and he's a rockets fan...oh the shame.
I'm not sure the balance beam was designed to favor the women. None of the guys had any major problems except for Daniel. The guys would have been better off voting off the weakest link.
I seem to recall more than just Daniel having problems on the balancing beam. Others fell and had to start over. Most of the men were having problems noted by how slow they were going and how they had to straddle the beam to get across. The women got right up and made it across on their first try with noone falling. I've never seen so many guys with a lack of balancing coordination in my life. Maybe they were just rushing it but that beam shouldn't have been all too difficult. These people wouldn't make good surfers...put it that way. Yes, Daniel was having problems but so did some of the other guys. The biggest foul-up by Daniel was when he seemingly made it to the end but stood up right before the end. That was a big mistake and I'm not sure what the hell he was thinking.
What did yall think of tonight's episode? I wonder if the woman who got voted off was the one who really snuck in the granola bar. I thought for sure the deaf woman was going to go. I feel bad for her cause she gets left out, but it's nothing intentional. People are out there to win, not make friends. I thought the black woman blowing up would have sealed the fate of the deaf woman.
The women- Their morale will be gone pretty quickly until they get a good shelter built. It rains there all the times and they still haven't got one built. Also I think the girls will have alot of problems getting along (witnessed by the deaf girl and the praying lady getting into the argument). Women also hold grudges longer (usually) so I would imagine all their arguments will have a longer effect ont he tribe. The men- Once they vote off a couple more of these young guys who don't do squat, I think they will be fine. Tehy will argue as well, but if they are like most guys they will argue and then forget about it. They have a pretty sweet camp set up and seem better at cooking and fishing than the women. I'll probably keep watching until the good looking girls get voted off (Heidi and the model). Neither one is as cute a Elisabeth but I can't complain.
Daniel got booted on Thursday. It was unanimous. Daniel says he told the Mandarin speaking white guy (Daniel's friend) to vote against him since he knew he was gone. I think Daniel's rant at tribal council sealed his fate. That and his crappy performances in challenges.
Daniel was at the Rockets game the other day, could not even make a free throw to save his life. Well he is booted off now so he can't represent Houston anymore I do not understand how the tribe thought he was lazy. This should be called "lets see who we can hook up with survivor"
It's gettin real good now. Only 4 episodes left. My thoughts: I can't believe Deena was so cocky she didn't eat the grubworm for immunity. I'm glad she got the boot. And I can't believe how stupid Matt is. Damn he's gettin played by Rob. Matt and Butch's chain is sad. I thought the final four was supposed to be Rob, Heidi, Jenna, and Deena...when did Alex join their alliance? Jenna had a funny message to Deena, "you screwed me, now screw you" I'm surprised she fell so fast, Rob's lucky he hasn't gotten caught playing two hands. And finally what's up with Christy calling Matt weird? Hello, has she ever recorded herself talk and played it back. Talk about weird. Yes, I know she's got a disability, but wouldn't that make her a more accepting person. I guess not.
