Is this old news?? I just heard it on 740AM. They said if the knee doesn't respond well in surgery, his NBA career is over... ugh. my son's favorite player.
Seriously? I thought he was rehabbing from surgery, not about to have more. Sure hope this isn't true.
Dude...this is nearly 1 year (6 days difference) then when he had back surgery last year! 9/22/04 http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/rox/2808682
My guess is they were talking about his surgery he had earlier in the year, and if it doesn't work out well then he will retire. Not a new surgery... I hope I'm not wrong.
WOw, didn't know they did sports news. Oh well, 610 had no idea of the rockets training camp. Gotta love clutchfans.!!!
Paging Jay Williams, paging Jay Williams. Will Jay Williams please report to the General Manager's office?
i hope you're right...but that's not what i heard. maybe i heard it wrong. i hope. but i don't think so. they said surgery TODAY.
It is highly possible that it took this long to test it in a way that made the diagnosis more clear. I'd say it is very likely that he had to get to a certain point where they could check his recovery and then make a decision from there. I seriously doubt they waited for no good reason.
