Sorry Astros fans. I don't mean to rub it in but Johan Santana is the 2006 AL Cy Young Award. Congrats to him. The guy is in the zone. He will continue to dominate batters in the next 5 years. Eventually, he will win a World Series for Minnesota.
Sorry to rub it in but the astros play in the national league. Our odds of winning the world series are probably double yours because of that fact alone.

nothing about santana doing well hurts me as an astros fan. if we give up jason hirsh this season and he goes on to be the most dominant pitcher in baseball, that would hurt. santana however was never a big time prospect here and frankly until he blew up in minnesota i had never heard of him in the astros farm system. i love great pitching and as long as he isn't facing us, i have no problems watching him mow down lineups.
