It's almost Halloween so just in time for a spooky thread! Do you believe in supernatural? I.E. ghosts, spirits, demons or whatever Did you have an experience? I believe in ghosts & spirits. I'm not sure if I believe in demons. My dad's old house in Mexico is definitely haunted! I've heard so many stories about that house from my relatives. I was always scared to sleep in that house. One night, I swore I felt a tap on my shoulder. Maybe it was my imagination. =(
if people went into a haunted house without anyone telling them it was "haunted" they wouldn't see/feel anything. in my opinion much of supernatural is cultural myths, someone from Mexico probably has a lot of superstition and supernatural belief while say someone from Iowa probably doesn't

The only supernatural stuff I've ever encountered was listening to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. It's pure entertainment while I'm shaving at 3:30 AM before I go to the gym. I like to listen to the call-ins. There are some strange people up at that time of morning....just like me! http://www.coasttocoastam.com/
Yeah i believe in them i think i may have had an experience saturday morning, but i've seen some weird unexplainable stuff with my own eyes at my local temple in india that i simple cant explain.
There's a great thread on this from years back...I can't search but I wonder if anyone has it marked somewhere.
Oooh I remember that thread. The strangest thing thats happened to me is at the house I still live in, which my girl thinks is haunted. Several times she has thought she saw someone walk by and felt she was being watched, but I've never experienced anything like it....except one time. One morning we both woke up, and the first thing I said to her was: "I think we should get a gun. Last night I felt like someone was in the house." She literally froze right then. She eventually told me she'd had a dream that same night that I was standing in the doorway to our bedroom holding a gun, and there was a dark figure standing behind me telling me to kill her.
I'm glad that I'm not only one on here that believes in that stuff!! I was starting to feel like a n00b(i like this word now)...
My brother-in-law swears that he saw a ghost as a teenager. They had just moved into a house, and he saw a woman with a shotgun (just standing there) in the bathroom. They found out later that a previous owner had killed her husband and herself. I don't know if I believe in ghosts or not, but he seems really sure of what he saw. (Because of religion, I certainly believe in angels and demons, but I can't say that they've ever affected my life.)
I used to love me some Art Bell while I was waiting in the drive-thru lane at Whataburger at 3am after a gig. I still listen to Coast to Coast, although it's just not the same without Art. Thing about that show is, I don't enjoy it nearly as much if I listen during the day.
I've known a lot of level headed people that claim to have seem supernatural events that they cannot explain. However, I have never seen anything with my own eyes that I can't explain, so I continue to not believe in these sort of things. Ghosts just can't ever be real to me until I get some real, empirical evidence.
I'm a firm believer in the paranormal. I've seen some pretty strong evidence that demonic possessions do take place in some fashion, and I think there are spirits that, for whatever reason, are stuck on this earth. Pretty interesting stuff.
Yeah, I never listen during the day, and don't think I'd like it if I did. At 3:30 AM, when it's quiet and the streets are empty, it's awesome. And your right...Art Bell >> George Noory.
Has anyone ever seen the Saratoga lights? I dated a girl briefly who grew up in Saratoga, and she brought me out twice to see the lights, and we never did.
