More importantly , what's the line going to be.
I'll say it will open Pats -6.5.

I've been an Eagles fans since I went to college in Philly, but voting against the Pats seems stupid. I don't think there is any way to legitimately say you think the Eagles will win unless you are (a) an Eagles fan or (b) picking against the Pats for the sake of it.

Futures markets currently have the Pats at around 71. Eagles are around 30.

C'mon Kaiser this is America, this is the Super Bowl..
it dosen't matter who wins, it's who covers.

Pick against the line. Or who will have the longest field goal , or who will score first or........

    The "tuck".

The way they thanklessly discarded Drew Bledsoe.

The way they thanklessly discarded Lawyer Milloy.

Their linebackers run their mouths all game.

Rodney Harrison and Ty Law are dirty hitters.

These are all things that have led me to dislike the Patriots myself.

    I'm rooting for the Eagles.

    The Patriots will win.

Why am I rooting for the Eagles? I'm not. I'm rooting against the Patriots. Why am I rooting against the Patriots? I'm going for the underdog, like I did last year.

The Patriots have just got it going on. Maybe the Eagles can make a game of it; Carolina did, last year, despite the blinding distraction of Janet Jackson's nipple ("and a 40 year-old tittie at that; 20 year-old tittie? community tittie! 40 year-old tittie?"....etc etc, see also, Chris Rock).

And will T.O. return? And if he does return, will he be at full speed, or will he hobble the team by being ineffectual but insisting to play nevertheless?

Patriots have won too much lately... just like the Lakers in the NBA or the Yankees in MLB. It is time for someone else to win. At first they were the underdogs and that was fine... now they are the favorites. I like to root for the underdogs and the Patriots are the favs. That's why I love to hate them.

    the MFP's (for you manny).

i can't stand this team at this point. when the horrible tuck call happened i didn't really care one way or the other. but once they beat the rams team i liked that started it all. the way every single part of the team is touted at practically the greatest of all time. belichick's the best coach, brady's the best qb, their D is the best D, their coordinators are the best coordinators, and on and on. either the coaching makes the players look better or the players make the coaches look better or something, they aren't all the best in the league at what they do. and like most dynasties, i end up on the side that hates them and this is no different. the patriots will either roll or get the breaks necessary to roll, just like every other game. and worse i'll have to listen to the best sportswriter going (bill simmons) go on and on about them like being a fan of a winning team means you know more about the sport than other people.

    pats 34, eagles 17.

i think i'm gonna have to put serious money on the pats straight up. something good has to come of this. either my wallet gets fatter or i get happier. something.

Lighten up, Pats hatas. Enjoy history when you see it.

Like I said last week, the Patriots are a well-oiled machine that is quickly becoming one of the greatest teams in NFL history.

They've got the hardest hitting defense in the NFL and best head coach in the NFL. If you think Bill Bellichik sucks, take a gander at what Bill Parcells has accomplished without him.....not a damn thing.

They've got a starting QB who is 8-0 lifetime in the playoffs.
Brady is one playoff win away from tying Bart Starr's NFL record 9 straight playoff wins.

For the Pats to lose the Super Bowl, they will have to make mistakes, and they just don't make them.

I will be rooting for the Eagles, because I would love to see them win. It would be a wonderful, incredible upset....one of the biggest in NFL history.

Barring a miracle, I just do not see it happening.
New England is too tough, too experienced, and is playing too well right now.

The Pats will definitely cover the 6.5 point spread.

I hope Paul McCartney plays "I Saw Her Standing There".
