who do you think will win the superbowl? NOTE: Poll closes 4 hours and 8 minutes before kickoff...although, if a mod can edit that, it would be best if it closed an hour before...but whatever, i just don't want in-game votes.
Steelers. The party I'm helping with we are going all out. I ordered a bunch of stuff from this company in Pittsburgh last week and today in the Chronicle it said the store had to have police to keep the crowds in order. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/3621648.html
Don't care too much who wins but I think it's gonna be the Steelers. Either way I'm more excited that it's an excuse to eat greasy food and get wasted !
i'm surprised everyone seems so sure the steelers will win. i don't care at all and have no idea who will win, so i'll pick the seahawks. i mean, i'm watching the game but man, it's a bit of a ho-hum matchup.
I actually think it's a great and interesting matchup. Both these teams have faced adversity this season, finally gotten healthy, and have come out on top. I think this will be a close and entertaining game to boot. I'm glad the better teams won.
Picking Pittsburgh and rooting for Seattle. I am an old time Houstonian and Oiler Fan. There is no possible way I could root for the Steelers in the Super Bowl. That being said....Super Bowl XXX in 1996 (Dallas vs. Pittsburgh) was the worst matchup in history. I think I went to the beach that day and totally blew off the Super Bowl.
i put a small bet on that game to make it interesting. i was at baylor with a bunch of annoying cowboys fans, so it was easier to root for the steelers that way. i think the line was cowboys by 12...i bet they wouldn't cover. they didn't.
Seattle. The Steelers haven't faced a defense like Seattle's in the playoffs yet (sorry Bronco fans), which is why they're in the Superbowl in the first place. Should be a good game though.
Seattle. The Steelers haven't been to the Super Bowl ever under Cowher and Holmgren has been there a few times. Edge goes to Holmgren. The underdog has done fairly well the past 4 Super Bowls, covering the number and it's time for another underdog to win outright.
