Jerramy Stevens will personally cover the spread. After all the crap that went down yesterday, I'm rooting for the Seahawks more than ever.

Pittsburgh should cover easily, and win the Super Bowl by at least 7 points. I will still be rooting against them, old Oiler fan that I am, and I will love it if the Seahawks prove me wrong.

Currently trying to decide if I want to smoke a 9 pound brisket overnight Saturday night for the game. I have a Sunday morning recording session that will end around 1 or 2 PM, in time for the game.

I don't see how Jerramy Stevens can guarantee a win in a big game.

I can see how he thinks they will win. It was a harmless comment blown way out of proportion by that idiot Joey Porter and all the idiots at ESPN. What's the difference between what Stevens said and Steelers saying they were going to win the game for Bettis?

Steelers by double digits, if only slightly. I predict they'll cover.

I got a feeling that the seahawks are going to win. I think its the underdog fight they got in them and they were the most disrespected team when it's all said and done.

Its just a way for the Steelers to further play the disrespect card. Skip Bayless is on TV saying that the Steelers don't deserve to be there, they only made it because of a missed field goal, and that Ben is just a run of the mill NFL QB. Now Porter can say that the Seahawks don't respect them...and the Seahawks can say the Steelers don't respect them. Its all talk...just like when Hasselbeck tells the ref in Green Bay, we want the ball and we're going to score.

Yeah, I hear ya. Porter's an idiot for disrespecting Stevens, IMO. My beef was really more to the ESPN talking-idiots response.

These are very even teams. Good balanced offenses (slight edge Sea) with good defenses (slight edge Pit). Pittsburgh run as underdogs in the road is impressive, but the Hawks were better in the regular season and totally smoked a very hot Carolina team on both sides of the ball. With all the dis'in of the Hawks this only works further in their favor.

Seahawks +4.5 is a great bet. The line is absolutely too big. Anything over a FG (+3) is too much.

the steelers schedule was pretty tough: houston, detroit, tennessee, green bay, baltimore (2), cleveland (2) :D

counting the playoffs, the Steelers have the 9th toughest schedule, and Seattle is still 32nd.

No I didn't, I recognize Pittsburgh has had a rougher road. But that just "evens it out" from Seattle being far more dominant over the season and dominating a good Carolina team more so than Pittsburgh has dominated any of their playoff opponents.

The game should be "even", media hype and dumbass Stealer fans is why the line is like 4.5.

Should be even or at most a couple points for Pitt.
