I don't see Rex Grossman having a good game... Dungy, with a week to study his obvious tendencies, will have his defense ready to defend the deep ball (their ONLY threat).

It will be Colts offense vs. Bears defense... pretty good matchup, and the line is exactly where I thought it would be.

OK quick, name five worse Superbowl QBs than Rex Grossman...I dare you.

    Steve Grogan
    Craig Morton
    Trent Dilfer
    maybe Stan Humphries

Didn't you know Jerome Bettis is from Detroit? That's where the Super Bowl was!

The better defense usually wins the superbowl. The Bears will win this game for sure. If I could find some way to put money down on this game in Korea, I would certainly bet on the Bears.

Colts by more that two TD's. Manning will go wild in this one.

When was the last time an offense as anemic as Rex Grossman-led Bears actually made it to the SB?

Also, the Bears defense is weakened compared to what it was... its still good, and likely as good as the Pats' defense... but still hampered by injuries to Harris and some other guys.

The Ravens' offense comes to mind but I have no numbers. The Tampa Bay Bucs, for that matter, also relied on "D" to get there.

Oddly enough, the Colts and Bears scored the exact same number of points this season (obviously the Bears were assisted by their defense). Bears outscored opponents 427-255. Colts were 427-360. They were tied for 2nd behind the Chargers.

Neither team had QB's putting up some of the horrid weeks that Grossman did... but good comparisons.

    speaking of the Chargers,
I was watching ESPN nba the other night and Stephen A Smith called Flip Saunders the "Marty Shotenheimer of the NBA".
I normally dont like Stephen A Smith, but that had me laughing.

Manning will fold under the pressure, and Grossman will suck as usual. Thus, because the Bears' defense >>> Colts' defense, the Bears will win.

I hope it's a good game, but I also hope that there are some decent ads this year.

Also, halftime show wardrobe malfunctions are always welcome...as long as they don't come from Prince. :D

The spread is Colts -7 with an over/under 48 to 49.

Before, the NE/Ind game somebody had either team a 6.5 favorite against the bears. I think the total might have been lower if it was NE playing.

    I'm rooting for Da Bears.
