Is the new minimum age 50 to preform? I know paul mccartney, prince, the who are big names, but you could throw in a contemporary person now and then.
This is confusing because most 50 year old rockers also have saggy t*** that could flop out at the slightest provocation.
If it were anybody else, Stones, McCartney, etc., I'd say enough is enough- but it's the Who, it's my all-time favorite band, so can't say anything bad about them. But they should look at contemporary bands like Green Day and The Foo Fighters- realistically, it has to be somebody big, though. And the sad thing is that The Who, at their age, can still kick the s**t out of most contemp bands.
Prince's gigantic silhouette guitar/c@ck was probably the only edgy thing we'll see for another 10 years.
Not that the performers they are getting aren't any good nor do I even really care that much, but they could stand to get more relevant acts....especially a female artist. I think it's been long enough since the wardrobe incident.
I'm 42 and like a lot of the Who's music and have no desire to see them head line the Super Bowl half time. Is the demographic for the Super Bowl really that old?
