You know, Hedo was terrible last season - but in that system with Nash as his point guard? That is going to be fun to watch. I'm also glad to see Childress returning to the NBA. I always enjoyed his game. He'll do well with Nash too. Just when I had written the Suns off...

Turkoglu, 31, has played 10 NBA seasons with four teams and wanted out of Toronto after an unhappy first season there. He averaged 11.3 points last season on 40.9 percent shootings, his lowest scoring average and shooting percentage in six years. Two seasons ago, Turkoglu was the NBA Most Improved Player when he averaged 19.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists with Orlando and followed it up with a 2008-09 season with averages of 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists. Strike Nash off Morey's superstar raid list. Hedo will do better with the Suns. Raptors were just a bad fit for him with Jack and Calderon there.
Stoudamire was a injury shock waiting to appear around the corner. I actually think now the team will be THAT much funner to watch with two absolute wizards with the ball working their magic. Hedo comes with less money than Amare too
I actually thought Hedo was the most untradeable player in the NBA. Still in shock to how easily Toronto unloaded him. I thought it was literally gonna take Chris Bosh or DeMar DeRozen + 2 first round picks or something to unload him. I wouldn't say they made out like bandits. He proved he could play with the Magic, but he wasn't a good fit with the Raptors. But I do wonder how he will work with Nash since he's a playmaker also and he needs the ball to be effective.
Not that they played great defense before, but they will probably allow the msot points in the league this year. Hakim Warrick isn't exactly a defensive stopper and neither is "Ball". (Turk)
Maybe it'll be funner. I'd rather have a boring team that wins. Amare is 20 times better then that soft crybaby who threw a fit when he was benched because he can't take care of himself. This is incredibly dumb for Phoenix, particularly since I have no clue whether this means Sarver won't be a tightwad or he'll use this contract as a way to avoid spending on someone who can actually play. They absolutely will regret this.

I have to agree another poster: I thought Hedo was about the most untradeable player in the NBA. Someone explain the Hawks rationale please. I don't think much of Josh Childress, but couldn't Atlanta have gotten more than a trade exception?
