Suns Sign Big Man, Steven Hunter
The Suns addressed their big man position Friday with the signing of free agent center Steven Hunter. The DePaul product was drafted by Orlando with the 15th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft. Hunter's signing continues an active summer that has seen the Suns sign free agent guards Steve Nash and former DePaul teammate Quentin Richardson.

So, P-Ew could have participated in getting his 'old' charge to Rox for nothing and SH signs with...Suns? Must be nothing there. Absolutely nothing.

    Don't laugh.

On November 8th of last season...

    ... at the Toyota Center:

Stephen Hunter redgistered 15 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots on 7 of 9 shooting.

Yao Ming only managed 10 points, 11 rebounds 1 block on 6 of 18 shooting.

I was at that game and Hunter sure as hell looked good that night.

Then... what about later in the season when Yao came back and dropped 37 points on him.

Looks like he "figured him out."

Yao is always better the second time around. He needs to play against someone till he figures them out a bit, he really studies his opponent.
