This isn't a fashion thread. I'm in the market for a pair of quality driving sunglasses if there is such a thing. Any recommendations? What pair do you guys wear?

I'm thinking of getting the Oakley Straight-jacket Polarized below: Costs about $210

It's not about fashion yet you're going to fork over $200 for some oakleys?

LOL. Sure it isn't bro. I think I saw some glasses similar to those at the flea for $5

$5? I wonder what great lens technology they would be offering, I'm sure their R&D department spends a lot of money!! BTW I'd buy something cheaper if it would give me the same clarity as the Oakley's, also I don't want to buy a pair that advertises a bunch of crap with none of it being true.

smoove shoez thanks for the recommendation, but I prefer wrap around glasses that limits the sunlight, I get headaches from driving in the sun.

If you're paying 200 bux that frame better not be plastic. I have the Juliets from Oakley and it has a steel frame. Very good for all types of out door occasions.

It's an o-matter frame, which is plastic but it is quite flexible. I know a buddy who has sat on his Oakleys plenty of times and has never had his plastic frames go out of shape.

Why anyone would pay more than $15.00 for a pair of sunglasses is beyond me.

Why would anyone pay more than $10 for a shirt?
Why would anyone pay more than $30 for a pair of kicks?
Why would anyone blah, blah, blah.

Generally, as the price goes up quality goes up as well.
In my case, there is a huge difference between my $120 CP3s and a pair of $20 AND1s. Lmao.

And I found some similar-looking Panama Jacks at the dollar store. Polarized, too. I bought some black ones for outside and brown ones for driving for $2 total, cuz that's how I roll.
