Hells Kitchen is always good stuff for me, glad they finally moved it to the summer, missed a lot of the early seasons because they ran them in fall.
Eureka is campy, but it is still decent, because it accepts its campiness and plays around with it. White Collar starts again tomorrow. You may not consider it a true summer series, but it is pretty good. Leverage is well done, even if the plot paths are annoying because the main characters are made incredible smart and lucky, and unable for you to truly figure out until they tell you how they pulled off the con. Yet it is still entertaining. My Boys will be starting about a month or so. It was pretty funny before, but it have been over a year since an episode. Covert Affairs looks like it may be good. Though I'm not sure about Piper Perabo, the fact that the creators made Bourne Identity gives it promise. True Blood was good, though this season has be less than spectacular. Same with The Boondocks.
Really? They moved it from 9 PM to 7 PM a couple of weeks ago and I didn't know about. I guess it's not doing well in the ratings but it was only meant to be one season so they're probably not going to pull the plug on it.
If only NCIS was getting new episodes and not just re-runs.. Wipeout is always fun. Burn Notice is the same as always..
Forgot about Leverage. I'm a fan. Although I wish they'd pursue some of the nuanced subplots a bit more - Hardison & Parker, Sophie's mysterious past etc. I don't mind the outrageousness (especially Hardison, who can produce a background check on 10 names written on a sheet of paper within 15 seconds flat). Still entertaining anyways. I'm skeptical about Covert Affairs, but it seems everything USA touches is gold so I'll definitely be checking it out.
Just started watching HUNG last week. We already finished the 1st season, and caught up last night. Great show.
True Blood - Not as good as Season 1 but not as horrible as Season 2. It's ok. I still don't understand why they don't follow the books. The only changes that I've liked from the books are keeping Lafayette and the girl Bill turned. The rest have not made any sense to me. Mad Men - I know it isn't on right now but we've Netflix'd the first 3 seasons and really like this show.
What do you think of IN PLAIN SITE It seems to be ok. Not spectacular but definately keeps my interest. Kind of wish the lead chick in this one . . would replace the lead chick in FRINGE. Lie to Me is good too. Rocket River
Yeah they announced it at the end of last weeks episode, CBS did something with Harpers Island, also a summer show that was only 12 episodes long. They moved it to Saturday nite then never aired the last few episode, they were only viewable via the CBS website.
A good drama...not quite edgy enough though. I'll only watch it if I'm bored and there's nothing else more entertaining on the DVR. Lie To Me has always been fantastic.
last comic standing is bearable... america got idiot is over, not it's time to showcase the real talents...
