Game starts in a few seconds... Lakers are playing their 4th game and the Rockets are playing their opener.

Tito is playing just like Francis and Mooch. First posession resulted in a 24 second violation.

    Summer League Game

So far, here are my observations...I've been keying on Boki, so that's mostly what I've seen so far.

He's playing really aggressive, but not too smart. His athleticism is a lot more evident here, though, than I've ever seen with the Rockets. He's an open court player. Defensively he's a front runner; he puts in the effort while he's got his man squared, but when the guy gets an angle, Bokie gives up...But he has clearly decided that he's the Man on this team, and I guess he should. He's made a couple, mostly tip ins and leaners...he's missed a few more. His best play was a really nice drive, slicing through a few defenders, but he missed it, and he had a nice head fake on Walton from the arc, got him in the air, but he blew that shot too.

Tito is playing wild...one great pass, but a few forced attempts.

The Rockets are down by 11 with 5 minutes left in the 1st.

Walton has been the best player on the floor, although Boki is getting around him.

If they can get Walton to take the open 15 footer instead of always passing, he will have a decent NBA career.

26-16 end of 1st qtr. Rockets offense is helter skelter.

Update...Badiane hasn't registered...Actually nobody on the team is doing much at all. Hicks had a nice spin move but blew it...another nice approach shot, missed it...With Boki out, Hicks seems to be trying to take over. Rockets really aren't a good team from what I can see.

One thing that is making it hard is, not knowing these guys on sight, the announcers matter, and these guys are sooooo L.A. They spent a 5 minute plus stretch where they didn't mention a single game related thing, as they were talking about Malone and Payton. They really only comment on L.A. players...

    Badiane just checked in.

Eric Chenowith is looking like an allstar.

Rockets are getting murdered out there. 36-18.

He looks huge...and good. He'll be in the league this year, no doubt.

That could be due to the Rockets lack of DEFENSE

Badiane is unable to hold the low post position on offense. Chenowith is pushing him around like a rag doll.

Who is this Hicks kid? He's an athlete, but man is he a ball hog.
