My question is why do we play guys like White and Luenen starting over Dorsey and Budinger? Shouldnt we start all of the rookies and Dorsey to see what they have first and see how we could develope and ge them ready for the season with most of the major minutes? I know they figure White into the occasion but really Budinger Taylor and Dorsey should get the massive minutes as those other former players have already proven to not stick so far. These rookies and Dorsey make much more sense to make the team and actually contribute heavily over some of the other guys. We should stack them with minutes to see what we got.

Man, I know it's SL, but I am excited to see how these young guys of ours can play. Many questions can be answered from this game. Here are some examples.

Is Chase Budinger really this good on offense? - I believe he is because I saw him a lot in college, and his shooting ability absolutely amazed me. He needs to have a good game here for me to know he can become a special player for our team. Could improve on the defense though. :D

Is Joey Dorsey actually this good of a rebounder? - Once again, I do believe that he is. I was fortunate enough to watch Joey Dorsey in the Elite 8 the year they came to Toyota Center. Also, I got to sit courtside, so I saw everything that went on. Man, not only is this guy HUGE, but he is as physical as it gets. He was getting rebounds left and right. I think he is the real deal when it comes to the rebounds. :D Needs to improve his offense to see more minutes.

Can Jermaine Taylor become a scoring machine? - This might take a few more games to find out. He has a good stroke, but it is slow. He had a lot of shots rim in and out, which is unfortunate. I need to see this kid have a huge game in one these last games before I am able to judge whether I think he is a true scorer at the NBA level. I think the talent is there, but need to see it first.

Is James White a quality SG? - I don't know what to say about this one. I think he is the type of player that becomes a streaky shooter. He might go 10 for 13 one game, and 2 for 9 the next. I am hoping he is able to show that he can become a decent SG for us in the future. Love the athleticism out of this kid :D , but can he use it right?

Well, this game might be able to answer a couple of questions above. Hopefully, the answer to all of them is the positive one. :D What are yall's thoughts on the game?

    Leunen: 31 MPG
    Dorsey: 30 MPG
    Taylor: 22.5 MPG
    White: 22.0 MPG
    Budinger: 21.7 MPG

Dorsey is getting major minutes. Taylor, Budinger and White are getting nearly identical playing time.

What's wrong with getting a better chance to see Leunen while he's over here? He has arguably been our best all-around player so far, regardless of what the stats show.

I dont know. I really just want to see Budinger and Taylor more. These guys could show us if they have what it takes and build their confidence much quicker with more minutes. Making them ready when we throw them to the NBA fire if they are asked to give major contributions this year. I really am just complaining because I want to see Budinger and Taylor more though. ;)

Part of me is thinking that we are trying hard to showcase people in order to trade them later down the line ala Donte Green. If that were the case, then who would your leading candidates for inflated stocks be? Here's mine:

    1. Joey Dorsey
    2. Chase Budinger
    3. Marty Leunen

White and Taylor for their lack of filling up the boxscores I feel the management is liking more and more for their athleticism and defense. Feigen aka the mouthpiece of the organization is high on these two anyways.

I'd like to see them getting closer to 30 mpg as well but I don't think anything they do in SL will contribute much toward preparing them for the NBA game. They'll probably learn more in 5 minutes of actual NBA action then they could by playing 48 minutes in every single SL game.

SL and NBA games are two different animals. Like Adelman said about young players in the past, there is only so much you can teach them in practice. They need to play in real games to start really growing and improving. SL is closer to practice than a real game.

    I love Budinger's game!
Hope he can make the team.

If we can sign back wafer, just send tj to oversea...Budinger can produce instance fire and impact!

I don't think so. They only have two left tonight and Friday (I believe that's the day, I know it's against the Lakers)

Will Leunen play for our SL team now that he's signed with some Euro team?

Anyone know if Jerryd Bayless is playing? It'd be nice to see Dorsey swat a few of his shots away tonight.

I believe he's playing. BTW, he scored 22 pts with 7 assists against the Raptors.
