Do something that will benefit you in some way? Do live on your own? Are you always broke? If so, work somewhere where you can get free or discounted stuff. I used to deliver pizzas, which was cool because I didn't have to spend alot of money on food. I also worked at a Sound Wharehouse back in the day. Discounted music is always good. ------------------
Hey space when did you work for Sound Warehouse? In the early 80s I used to work for Bromo Distributing. They were the distributing center for Sound Warehouse. I drove a van delivering product to all the sound warehouse stores around Houston. That was a GREAT job until they decided to close it down and ship directly to the stores! Ah, memories and my record collection grew tremendously during that time! ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
88-92 I bounced around during that time as I rose through the ranks. I've worked at the Voss, Dairy Ashord, Fondren, and Shepard stores. I knew the buyout was coming and i rebelled against all of the changes they were making before the acuisition. They were taking away all of the individual character away and making us conform to some lame corporate appearence. Needles to say, i was fired before the buyout actually happend. I had a fun time, though. It was a cool store before they literally sold out. ------------------

If I had to do it over again, I'd do the same thing. My favorite job was a busser at Outback. I made about $50 a night in tip share, half off food, and it went by really, really fast. If oyu are looking for a job with the most buck for the bang, be a waiter at a busy, trendy restaraunt. If you want to stay close to the sports scene, work at a Footlocker or Footaction and they pay some commissions if you sell enough.
