    1) kobe
    2) durant
    3) howard
    4) dirk
    5) lebron

no wade or bosh in the top 10.

so how do you think it'll play out? but since lebron's stats "may" decline, so kobe's stats may now be similar to lebron so you never know. and the lakers will have a top3 record

durant has a great chance of winning b/c he's their sole superstar/all-star and they have a great chance of cracking 55 wins. and i'm sure certain voters will be turn off by lebron and choose to vote for another person.

howard has a great chance if he can improve his offense game and bring that ppg up to like 24-25. if he averages 24-25ppg, 12rpg, 3bpg and his team has a top 3 record, i can see him winning.

i think lebron can win every MVP if he wants to. but we don't know how much he'll sacrifice. and we don't know how many voters he'll turn off. the only way he'll win i think is if the heat get a top 2 record and he records a near triple double statline.

    the rest has no chance.

If Durant gets his assists numbers up a bit, maintains otherwise, and the Thunder win 55+ games...I think it could be his to lose.

Yada yada, you also think LeBron can win every ring if he wants to, but last time I checked, he's still a ringless queen.

If Lebron can play a Magic Johnson type role and still be able to win MVP with Wade and Bosh on the team, he'll shut up a lot of people up.

Pippen did play that role in Bulls, and how many MVP he collected exactly?

Except he never got the double digit assists and controlled the offense like magic did. And he never nearly avg a triple double like magic did.

And lebron won 2 MVPs so we all know he is capable of winning it. How many did pippen win without MJ?

id go with durant. if he is healthy and improves a little each year i could see him winning 4-5 in a row. he would have to win a ring in the middle of that to keep the streak of mvp's but the guy is that good and is likable enough that people would vote for him after he has won 2 or 3 in a row already.

I agree...if he can develop a few more aspects of his game and the Thunder are more successful than last year by becoming anywhere between 3 and 6 seed in the playoffs...I would go with Durant....now lets make a trade for him!!!! ;)

And Pippen won 6 rings, how many did LeBron win?
LeBron can catch Pippen once he won 6 with that role.

Why do you feel so threatened by people recognizing that Lebron is a great basketball player?

I have never seen you post once in a thread where you weren't either bashing Lebron or talking up Kobe.

You're just showing your ignorance again. Pippen played the Magic Johnson type role on the Bulls? Do you realize that Magic was the best player on his team? When was Pippen the best player on a championship Bulls team?

Not really. He was already good in the regular season before and MVP is pretty media-driven and sometimes based on "whose turn it is".

b/c lebron is on pace to destroy every kobe's accomplishment (already does statistically), and will do so with every individual accomplishment.

but kobe does have those 5 rings. and we will see if lebron can achieve that.

can the guy finish his career first? jordan didn't win his first ring till he was 28. lebron is freakin' 25. he has 8-9 more dominant years left.

He joined Wade to be the 2nd fiddle, you mean Pippen right? Pippen won his first one at 25 already, and he won 3 in a row. LeBron does have a lot catchup to do.

I agree LeBron is a great basketball player, and an overrated one.

And I've never seen your post once in a thread not making excuse for LeBron and talking down Kobe, along with t_mac1

like i said, jordan didn't win his till he's 28. and per this MVP ranking, wade is nowhere to be found, so how is lebron the 2nd fiddle? it's obvious this guy thinks lebron will outshine those 2 (you just don't want that to happen do you?)

i've stated many times kobe is a top 2-3 player and he'll go down as a top 10 player of all time, possibly top 5 depending on how many more rings he wins.

i just think lebron is the better player AS OF NOW, and he'll have a great chance at surpassing everybody but jordan if he wins some rings.
