I recently purchased the new Beastie Boys album, "To the Five Boroughs," and I must say, it's stupendous. The beats are simplay amazing. But the real CD I'm aching for is the new Converge, "You Fail Me."

What are the top CD's you guys are waiting for?

Krayzie Bone has a new album coming out soon. My expectations are high. I'm sure he'll come with it. In the latter years of his career he started trying his hand at producing, and he's been pretty damn good at it so far. Hopefully his songs with lil' Jon aren't of lil' Jon going "YAYAH" "OKAAAY" "WHAT!?!?!".

Looking forward to the new Roots album. Need to pick up the new Wilco as well.

I dig the new DMB live release. Best "Lie In Our Graves" I've ever heard.

    TheFreak,

I'm in Alabama currently. I'll go and check the e-mail.

    SWTsig,

Live at the Gorge was released yesterday. You can get a double CD and DVD at Target for 14.88.

    Smeg,

Yeah, I dig it. On par with their other live efforts, except I really dig the behind the scenes stuff on the DVD.

The new Wilco is the only Wilco I've ever owned... this CD really, slowly grew on me...

Anyone ever heard of Devendra Barnhart? Bizarre, acoustic, folk, with interesting lyrics and a distinct voice. Good stuff.

Can't wait for the new R Kelly double album "You Saved Me" & "Happy People". The guy has his problems but his music is off the hook.

I thought the thread was about summer releases ... we will see Iraq Democracy before we see 'Chinese Democracy'. ;)

Sweet Lord, yes, I'm waiting for "You Fail Me." Those guys have gotten better and better with every album. "Jane Doe" pretty much continues to own me, like, 3 years after it was released. Converge kills people!!

I'm also REALLY looking forward to the Meshuggah EP "I" that's hits stores in Sept. I'll be damned if I'm going to wait that long for a disc from my favorite band; I'm ordering it online from lumberjack. People online say it's already shipping.

I've already pre-ordered the new Dillinger Escape Plan. I was real hyped for the new Candiria disc for years, but what I've heard of it has been... disappointing. Still, gonna be an awesome summer. I think Lamb of God drops another one soon, too.

Hell yes! He's playing the Orange Show on Saturday at 7:00. Coolest, weirdest venue in town.
