    Hey guys,

I'd like to summon the vast knowledge of the BBS once again. In a couple of weeks, I will be taking my friend out on the town for his birthday. We will definitely be going to GiGi's (thx Roc!), and another such establishment. He's kind of a homebody, so I'm going to drag him to one the various Midtown establishments. I was thinking Belvedere, where it's a bit more relaxed, and not so much a meat market (like Red Door). Anyway, I'd also like to treat him to a happy ending to his night by taking him to an Asian massage parlor.

So any suggestions on the following would be greatly appreciated:

    - Midtown bar besides Belvedere where man:woman ratio isn't too skewed. He's a homebody, so I'd like him to meet some single women.h

    - Asian massage parlor

    Alright brothers, thanks in advance!

Okay I'm not sure if this message board is the appropriate place to post information about Asian Massage Parlors (AMPs) so PM me for more info. I can at least point you in the right direction.

don't know anything bout the AMP's, but i went to brian o'reillys once in rice village and had a good time. it's my type of bar - chill, you don't have to be too dressed up, fair amount of ladies, and some live music. fantasy's north is pretty good, BYOB too.

that's all i could tell ya as i spend much more time on 6th street than i do in h-town.

The Liquor Lounge is a good alternative to Red Door.
    So is Zimm's
    So is Drink Bar/Barfly.

    Hope that helps.

    Coma,

Please email me again. I didn't realize that Hotmail accounts aren't allowed on Clutch BBS. I changed my email info. to a better one.

    Later,

    Tommyboy,

    I just emailed you. Thanks!

Anyone been to Sky Bar lately? Last time I was there, it was rather dull. I wonder if anything has changed.

    LOL! :D

I guess if you think about it, one may need to take AMP supplements before hitting the AMPs!

I've seen some hot ladies coming out of Private Sensations. No joke, they were actually really good looking.
Maybe it was just that day, though. You never know.

Speaking of, I think I'll get some pho for lunch.

I don't know much about that market, but I must admit I'm curious. I imagine most of us are. Something I've wondered about a few times. Why don't you search at houstonescortdirectory.com or whatever it is? I've seen that thing advertised somewhere. I bet they have a list of places by neighborhood. You may want something close to your last bar stop. You could do an outcall and "evaluation" at the bar before retiring to relax elsewhere.

Please regale us with your adventures, real or imagined, after :).

    Hmrph.

Although I did want suggestions re: massage parlors to take birthday boy to (which Tommyboy HOOKED me up!), I was more interested in actual bars.

So, no more adult establishment suggestions, please! Although I do, from the bottom of my heart, appreciation the time and effort. :)

Fatty, I've heard of Zimm's, we might have to give it a try.

Treasures. I have heard too much about this place not to suggest it.

I'm speaking of places I frequent and are aware about.

Downtown is just starting to pick back up again, and could be a good starting point, but last weekend it was pretty dead.

You can always check out www.vinylpimp.com as well.

Just don't go to BAR Houston, or Toq, or any of those other teenybop places, and you'll be fine.

My only complaint with Zimm's is that it can be quite pricey.

Pearl is supposed to be quite the thing these days. http://www.pearlhouston.com

You might prefer things at Dean's Credit Clothing, or at my personal fave - Warren's. Those are downtown, though. Char bar is ok, and La Carafe is right there. 515 had a latin thing going. Up and down Main St. with the Rail could be ok.
