Looks like his arm was crushed by that defender's knee.

I just want to say STFU to anyone who was saying Cincy was as good as Texas or Alabama or any of the top tier teams (Florida). They has three wins by three points or fewer against Big East opponents (two of those at home). Three more wins were by 10 points or fewer. They never played a team with a super D, and they never played a team nearly as fast as Florida.

I don't know why I didn't bet on this game. I don't know what the spread was, but if it has been +13.5 or something for Florida, I would have taken that bet.

Gotta feel bad for those Cincy kids. Their coach left them out to dry before the biggest game of their careers.

This is like that Hawaii-UGA game a couple of years ago. The team from the minor leagues is getting crushed. A total mismatch. Cincy has no business in this game.

Well, Hawaii was a WAC team. The Big East may be one of the lower BCS conference but it's still miles ahead of the WAC.

I don't think it would have really mattered. Maybe they score a few more points.

BCS got what it deserved for pitting TCU against Boise.

    Is anyone watching this game?

Cincinnati is getting run off the field. I am happy to see this.

The BCS has had some controversies, but come on now, teams like Cincinnati and Boise St are not the best team in the nation. Be happy with your BCS bowl.

Man the Tebow love has blinded so many people.....including the play by play guy.

Even after Bill Bilicheck (sp?) insistned that he has some major mechanics he has to deal with at the next level (and it is reallllllllyyy poor btw), the other guy (play by play) just asked : "why?" as if he doesn't want to believe that mighty Tebow has a weakness

    Are you kidding me?

If Texas had missed that FG, then Cincy would've been in the championship game. That would've probably killed the BCS... maybe.

    Bama 77
    Cincy 3

    Great game.

Haha. I agree that the overall love for Tebow has sometimes gone too far, but on the flip side, so has the level of Tebow bashing. Like ragging on all of the "good things" that he does because there is really nothing bad to talk about. "Look at the Bible verses on his face!....Loser!" or "Freaking missionary! What? Does he think he is better than us because he is helping a lot of people?" I mean, come on now.

Also, I am still in the camp that thinks Tebow will not have major success in the NFL, but if he ends up in a Wildcat offense, or even on a good team a la Roethlisberger, he can do well. He definitely has some mechanics issues/differences, but those often get blown out of proportion. If the guy can make the read, and make the throw, he can do well. I just don't know if he can do that yet.
