Its not too late for us to make the playoffs. The players just need to pick up their jaws that have fallen to the ground light a fire under each other's butts and continue the rest of the season with intensity. DOESNT IT JUST FIGURE THAT IN OUR FINAL RUN CUTTINO IS INJURED??? I mean if Marion got injured their playoff hopes would just go right on down the drain.

I'm with you, but I'm also a realist...

If you got guys b****in' and whinning and blaming each other, it's over...

There is no "I" in Team and right now, we just don't have that confidence and passion for the game...

I like what Steve said..."Forget about the playoffs, I just want to win one game"...Yeah, me too...

Yeah, it is like Defcon 3 right now. The Rockets are declaring war on each other and that is not good. Maybe Rudy's gentle coaching style was for a reason. Either way, things are NOT looking good right now.

Its not over until the fat lady sings. Come on guys we still have a chance. The Suns play the Wolves and then the Lakers.

I predict 43-39. That gives us a little cushion because the Suns will lose a minimum of 4 games.

    Orlando
    Portland
    Utah
    Seattle
    Memphis
    Denver

its very possible. here is how i see the remaining schedule working out for us and the suns:

    ROX

    magic W
    blazers L
    jazz L
    sonics L
    grizzlies W
    niggets W

its possible that we beat utah and seattle too. but unlikely. we could go anywhere from 42W's to 44W's

    suns

    wolves L
    lakers L
    nuggets W
    mavs L
    warriors W
    spurs L
    blazers L
    sonics W

i cant really see them beating any of the playoff teams on their schedule because they are all fighting for playoff seeding. they will be 42-40 by seasons end.

umm, hope the Rockets take care of the lower teams? They weren't doing that much of a good job taking care of them this season....

Have a feeling now that Houston may need to win out in order to make it. The way they played against Philly was pretty impressive, but they are going to need to keep playing like that to finish the season. The team has to concentrate in putting 100% effort each and every night from here on out if they want to have even have a chance. While it will be pretty disappointing to not make the playoffs, we have to chalk the year up to experience. We are the second youngest team in the league and although many will tell you that it doesnt make a difference, it really does. Our team really does have somewhat of a selfish attitude, witnessed by the fact that we have the lowest amount of assists per game. This attitude of selfishness is just a part of maturing. The Suns are a veteran team and have somewhat figured out how to win. Anfernee has 5 years experience on Mobley, Marbury has 3 years on Francis and Yao Ming is a rookie. Since they are more a veteran club than we are, they play much better team ball than we do. It is also extremely disappointing that we have to finish up the season under an interim coach. If Rudy was still coaching, who knows how much better we would be playing right now. The only thing that will really piss me off, if we dont make the playoffs, will be if somehow we got Lebron James because then we would have to give him up because we owe somebody a lottery pick.
