    1. Memphis Game:

Rockets down by 3 with 36.5 seconds left. We have the ball, dribble it up the court and call a time out with 32 seconds.

    What is wrong with this?

36.5 seconds left, you call a timeout so you dont waste 4.5 seconds.

You inbound the ball at half court, try to go for a quick 2 (teams will often play soft in the middle to avoid giving up the tying 3 pointer).

If you can make a shot within 6 seconds, you dont need to foul or throw up a 3 point desperation shot.

What happened was the Rockets blew the 2 for 1 opportunity and was forced to foul.

    2. Miami Game: Overtime, Glenn Rice inbounds the ball to Eddie. What is that about? Glenn Rice is one of our best FT shooters. This did not come back to haunt us, but why don't we have Eddie (our worst FT% shooter )inbounding the ball.

    3. Anytime we get the ball back with about 30-35 seconds left. So many times during the game someone will jack up a shot with plenty of time on the clock. Why not in this situation???
Obvious 2 for 1 situation so why not take. Instead we run the clock down to about 12 and give up the potential extra possession.

    4. Timeouts. Why do we always call timouts on the opponents end
of the floor. Opponents score and instead of calling a timeout right away, he forces our players to run down the court, then call timeout and forces them to run back to the bench. Last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter, coaches look for any opportunity to rest players - especially for the totally exhausted Yao or Stevie who plays 45 minutes a game.
