just wondering what college students like myself are doing over the summer. Some of my friends have internships at companies like apple, microsoft, amazon etc... while others are just taking time to relax or go on vacations in other countries. I'll be spending the summer @ Adobe working on software development for a new product.
I'm starting my own business this summer. Right now just working with local clients, hopefully we can put up our website soon and go national.
I didn't get an intership, so I will be taking a few classes and working. I just started at Burger Boy today. I'm a delivery guy, and don't know how long I will work here. I am looking for another job at the moment, but will work at this one till first pay check or so. The pay isn't enough, and it's boring as hell.
taking summer school classes starting june 6th so i can graduate in august. interview with merrill lynch in houston later this week and hopefully a few interviews in austin later in the summer. if anyone here is hiring in austin, let me know. and i'll be going to the bahamas on saturday
I'm on my way to becoming an amateur freelance p*rn star. I know, that's not a summer internship. And freelance because I want to go at my own pace. Oh, and avoiding having to perform in all-male. Once that doesn't work, I should be ready for an internship next summer with (hopefully) Nike, the NBA (team or league office), a college athletic department, or National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Up, I had a friend that worked a Burger Boy for a year... He liked it, but couldnt stand the heavy set lady that works there.. He said it was a easy job and you dont have to sit around all day and be bored to death.. I loved College Station, but that town has WAY to many over educated people for not enough jobs..
