I was reading my new espn the magizine. If anyone is familiar with it, there is a section where Stu Scott answers various emails. One email asked what did he think of Yao's game these days? Is he the NBA's top big? He says " I still take Shaqs 17 points and 7 boards. That said, I do think Yao is the second best big, although Dwight Howard is gaining fast." Why would you take 17 &7, over 25 &10?

Let me guess, it's "because he changes the game with his presence," despite the fact that his ass got swept right out of the first round last year.

This guy probably thinks we are several years ago. Damn no. Shaq was better thank Yao, right but right now he cannot be higher than Yao. Of course I still love Shaq, even more than Yao but I'd choose Yao.

And I hope Yao will improve in his reboundin'

Let me be the one to say it: Because Yao is not black - and/or because Yao is not "flashy".

stewart scott is perhaps one of the most adept mind's at sports analysis out there today. you can tell that because he just keeps it "real".

    Not surprising.

Most of ESPN would probably take the big dominating black guy over the gentle asian guy.

I can't wait till Shaq retires.

Who cares? It is just an opinion, not a fact. If you gonna complain about it, just stop buying the magazine, because when you do, you are paying for his opinion, like it or not.

    :D :D

Stuart Scott probably also likes himself over sports anchors that are actually talented. That basically disqualifies him from having a valid opinion.

    Boo-yah! Take that Stuart Scott.

Stu knows that the refs give Yao the most ridiculous tic tac fouls in order to prevent him from getting into a rythym and Shaq always get calls to go his way, so as REAL as Stu keeps it, that's how he's got to go

Most brothers will never give Yao that much props to say he has surpassed Shaq. Not even if Shaq was old in a wheel chair.

Yao and Tmac just need to win a championship in order to stop these type of comments. Shaq won one 2 years ago and things in the east might of been different last year if wade didnt get injured who knows. There's a reason where shaq goes somehow other players get a lot better. Remeber penny hardaway? kobe bryant? Wade? Concidence? probably

ITs not racism its lazyness. Its easy to just say Shaq, Shaq Shaq every year for 10 years.

Racism would be me saying he is lazy cause he is black.
