I know everybody wishes James had played better but there could still be a bright side to this awful game. James has shown year after year that he cares about the game and is willing to make improvements. Almost single-handedly ending his team's season is something he likely won't forget anytime soon. Hopefully it is the fire that drives his off-season.
This can be said every season for Harden since he's been in the leaguem He didn't show up today. I want to know why...
Should HMMHMM make the equivalent of "James Harden plays no defense" video and circulate it all over the web again?
I agree with this. This might leave a bad taste in his mouth and he'll work hard to improve and won't be content.
Thank You Harden for one of the best individual seasons in rockets history. Much appreciated. He'll be back bigger and better.
Few players have the potential to gain elite status in the league, but potential only gets you so far. Only time will tell, but it's on The Beard.
What's amazing is before tonight, he would've gotten very little heat for the Rockets losing this series. But after Game 5, he's gonna get torched all summer long and I do think it's somewhat deserved. He does have a tendency to mope about when things don't go his way offensively(particularly with foul calls). He also takes way too long to make a move, preferring instead to dribble the ball between his legs. And he has a ton of careless turnovers. I hope this performance will provide motivation for him heading into next season. Honestly, until he leads this team to the Finals, this one may hang over his head. He's just lucky it didn't happen in a Game 7.
He needs to hear all the hate to get better. If you think he's the same this year as last year (after listening to a whole offseason of hate) you didn't watch many games this season.
Harden..... Just know that somewhere deep down in our hearts we still love you... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ee925OTFBCA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Harden started looking Like Lebron in 2011 finals. Didnt want to shoot or the ball at all, no confidence in his moves
He's gotten better every year he has been in the league. I'm not sure why we shouldn't believe that he won't get better.
