He should be back fairly soon I think. The ankle sprain did not look all that serious. I would guess in the next couple of games, but it is just a guess. DD
How did I know that was coming In all honesty, he has been playing well of late, so i'm not going to dog him.
I was at the Suns game tonight and saw Swift and the new dude Fisk or Frisk practicing on the practice court around 7:15PM before the game. Swift was running sprints and doing cuts. He looked like he could be returning soon. Hopefully he is not in the dog house!
I'm hearing that JVG has Stro busting his ass while he is sitting out these games. As a matter of fact, ALL injured players MUST workout from 75 minutes BEFORE the game (6:15) until after halftime. Damn, thats about a 2 and half hour workout
I am just wondering: Can Swift guard Marion? Probably not. He is either not quick enough or smart enough. Well, I still hope Swift will become a solid rotation player, or at least a solid backup for C and PF position. See my signature.
Yes, im serious. Thats JVGs new policy from what I heard...If you are injured, your ass is working out during pre-game/1st half
Depends on the injury I guess. With the sprained ankle im sure he was at least in the weightroom....and probably doing exercises to stregthen the ankle. My source wont give up much info, because they are under contract and cant say anything, but this is what I got from it.
Well let's hope Swift get back REAL soon, because Yao needs more rest due to tonight's injury (even if it's not too serious, it still needs time to heal completely).
You'll learn real quick that most people HATE Stro on this board (watch out). I, however, am not one of them. I think he will be an asset to this team when he comes back.
We should have trade him for Darius. We could have used Darius tonight. I bet he could defend Marion a little bit.
