I know a lot of people have been really disappointed in Stro's play so far this season. YES, his bball IQ is brutal. YES, he could do a better job of crashing the boards. BUT, we have to remember that he is still pretty young....and he is still trying to fully understand JVGs system. If you have watched every game, you can see Stro growing more and more comfortable. Remember the first game Brad Miller would fake a pass and SS would bite so bad? Now look at his D. YES he has moments when he looks lost, but for the most part I hae been very pleased with his play as of late. I would kind of like to see him start, but at the same time I can see why JVG brings him off the bench. I just think Stro compliments Yao better the JH....JH and Yao are too similar in their style of play. So I was watching the game at Pinches and sure enough Bob Sura was there. I thought he was bigger then he is. I guess he hasnt been hitting the weights that much with all of his injuries. We talked a little bit, but he was with a HOT chick so I didnt want to interupt.
Yea, this girl was pretty hot for sure! I've seen him at Pinches a few times within the past few months. He seems pretty cool for being a "star".
I don't think its possible that she was fat if she was hot......the two just aren't used to describe the same girl.

IMO it was stro's energy that one the game for us last night. put back dunks, blocks, rebounds. he sparked our team big time late in the game. that kind of play caught on with the team and everyone was making great plays (tmacs steals from bonzi, yao has 2 blocks on someone, etc..). i tihnk he should start and get a good amount of playing time so he can get more comfortable.
Stro is what he is. He is a great X factor off the bench. We are paying him a reasonable salary. He is never gonna be a 15/10 player.... ever. Too inconsistent and slow minded. We need a bruiser and we could platoon that bruiser with Stro and be set at a very reasonable price for PF.
Its real close to 45 and Nasa Rd One in Clear Lake. Heading south on 45 it will be on the left....out in front of Home Depot. Its a restaurant, but at night its an open bar. I'll tell you what.....Thursday nights is BIG @ss beer night ($1.75 23 oz) and there are LADIES everywhere. Friday nights is good too, bu tI dont think they have specials on friday.
Sura plays poker at a certain place over in friendswood so he's been over in that area quite a bit lately.
Is it relatively new? I'm from CL and don't remember it. Too far to go on a Thursday night but sounds like a deal!!
Actually, the hippest place to hang out in Clear Lake is Knotheads (Buttheads) on NASA Road 1. Tell them MR.MEOWGI sent ya.
Pinches has been there for at least 10 years. There are very few good places to go out in clear lake anymore. Back when I was in college we had zu bar, piggy bank, clear lake club house, all those were cool. But now its pretty lame.
