Saw an old article about this somewhere the other day, and I wondered if anyone had ever done a top-ten list for stripper music, music to pole dance by. Lot's of obvious choices, Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin Love", ZZTop "Sharp Dressed Man", but my top nomination is a little more, exotic. even after the dreck that is the L word i can't get Mia Kirshner dancing to Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows" out of my head...come to think of it, that's another good one, ELO "Can't Get it out of my Head", at least for a slower song.
I defy anyone to go into a strip club and not hear Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" Motley Crue, Rob Zombie, and crappy techno. The Hat Trick of Strip Clubs. My personal favorite? Look up "Blow my Whistle b****"
Are we talking about cheesy, strip club stripper music? or are we talking about seductive, sexy girlfriend strip music?
"p***y Control" -Prince Good mornin’ ladies and gentlemen Boys and mother****in’ girls This is your captain with no name speakin’ And I’m here 2 rock your world With a tale that will soon be classic About a woman u already know No prostitute she, but the mayor of your brain p***y control Aaah, p***y control, oh Aaah, p***y control, oh
Maybe these songs are not for strippers but for something more, but these 3 songs came to my mind: "Slow Ride" - Foghat "Head" - Prince "Closer" - Nine Inch Nails
the first time my wife heard the song, Butterfly...i can't remember the crappy group that sang it...she said, "this song was made for strip clubs, wasn't it?" classic.
I know that most people don't like this guy, but there is NO better titty dancing song IN THE WORLD than Stranglehold by Nugent. Listen to the song and think about some tight little unit crawling along the stage with her back bowed and her ass pointing to the ceiling and you'll see what I mean.
Dear Penthouse, I was in Sugar's in Austin for my birthday lunch in March. When we walked in with a birthday cake, the waitress said , "oh it's Kimberly's birthday too". She was on the satellite stage right by our table so I told her to come by after we finished our steaks and have some cake. It turns out it was her 20th birthday. Now as a happily married man I don't do lap dances but I decided it would be just as much fun to buy Kimberly a lap dance on her birthday and just watch. The most fun was having her pick her own dancer since she had never actually danced for a woman or had a woman dance for her (very titilating). Anyway when we finally made the choice and the deal was going down the DJ randomly played Van Morrison's 'Into The Mystic'. Wow, not your everyday strip club song. It was slow and dreamy and sensual (like girl on girl should be!) And then, he went right in to 'Moondance' so we got like a 7 minute twofer. I don't want to get too far past PG but suffice to say the girls were digging it. Happy Birthday to me!
About 10 years ago, whenever I would go into a strip club, you would always hear some Alice in Chains or Faith No More. To this day, hearing "Man in the Box or "You Want it All" reminds me of being in a strip club.
the best is when the DJ plays a long song like "November Rain". nothing like getting your money's worth!
A good female friend of mine wants to take me to a strip club to "celebrate" my divorce. She said it's been a little while since she got a good lap dance and thought we should both go. I'll let you know what songs they play...assuming I am listening.
