They may not have rebounded that well, but PF's who shoot better than 35% from three don't grow on trees....... Are we going to have spacing problems now?

Yeah, I'm a little surprised that they gave up both of them, but TJones and Donuts are supposed to be able to stretch when needed right?

Pretty sure D-Mo and Jones can shoot, probably not as well as Morris but they can actually(hopefully) do much better work in the post.

Hopefully he won't be a stretch 4 for too long.

It'll be interesting to see who starts out of D-Mo and TRob. I think D-mo will be our new starter and TRob a hustle PF off the bench.

No they can't shoot from three. Check their d-league stats.

Parsons will play the 4, with Delfino playing at the 3. We're actually more stretchy than ever.

T-Rob is a project, I would say that Parsons to the 4 will happen more often, as Garcia is no slouch.....

I think Robinson will play backup C. He's been matched up against the opposing Cs by Smart.

I wouldn't take anything that Sacramento was doing with their player rotations with a grain of salt.

Neither could rebound or provide any kind of post defense, so while they both could shoot I would say neither is a huge loss.

Shouldve renamed this thread to say...that Asik gets better playing with a true 4...If you thought Asik was our best defender...his value only increases with the addition of a true rebounding PF...Look to the Rockets to dramatically be one of the best rebounding teams in the league...

The Addition of Robinson also provides Lin and Harden a guy that gets above the rim with explosiveness....similar to a Tyson Chandler...

Love to imagine combos with Asik, DMo, and TJones...

Guys this is a really good trade for the Rockets..

Yeah as much as Patterson and Morris couldnt rebound and at times not defend, thats a lot of shooting and space flooring being sent out.

Thats wrinkle is supposed to be a strength in the Rockets approach. D-Mo and Jones shoot but don't MAKE near the efficiency of 3's.

I was wanting to see Morris moved over to the 3 some more as scorer off the bench, not even "stretching" him out. But oh well now the Suns can see if that can work.

Also Robinson's been played at SMALL FORWARD. Doing anything they can to not let him be the natural bruising PF he is. But he's not a shooter or stretch player, more "traditional" PF, might even clog the paint with Asik.

(Gives a little thought that Robinson might be flipped cuz he doesnt fit how the other PF's fit, but we'll see)
