A newspaper, Reforma, said the man was standing on a beam with a rope loosely tied around his neck and ropes tied around his hands and feet. He was letting his younger brother and sister swing at him with sticks but lost his balance while trying to avoid being hit. He strangled when the rope tightened around his neck.
What an idiot. A rope around his neck, hands and feet, standing on a beam while kids are swinging a stick at him? I see no danger in that act of stupidity.
He's a major candidate for the Darwin Awards. If it happened in the U.S, I bet Ralph Nader or that stupid safety w**** Joan Claybrook would be storming Washington with their safety-nazi addlebrains in tow to demand that we ban pinatas immediately. We must do it for the children, they would whine. Or at least they'd want those warning labels. If it happened in the U.S, I bet the family would try to find someone to sue.
