Look, it's getting ridicoulous guys. I loved Ming since early june, read all my earlier posts, but seriously, it seems most of you guys either don't watch Rox or don't understande BBall. Ming is a great great player that is coming along fast but he isn't Hakeem in his prime (yet) Remember Hakeem in his prime, remember how dominating he was 9 out of 10 times, remember how we dumped it into him, rember how we bash the offence cuz we let the defense dictate the offence. Rember how bad we were if Hakeem has an offnight, this board hated the offence when Hakeem was here because against elite teams, it just wasn't as effective, Hakeem had to use super human effort just to make it work. And now we want to run the same offence through Ming??? Why??? Ming is great, but until he can hit that turnaround with consistency (which he will), he's no where near Hakeem near his prime. Ming is a special player but he still needs to adjust to the NBA. We shouldn't run the offence through Ming too much because of fatigue... he is tired, both of his parents said so. If you look at the games, noticed how he tends to be better in the first half then the second half? I think in 3 years, we will start running the offense through Ming (though I really want it in a more of a KG or CWebb type of offence to fully utilize his range and passing) but not now for goodness sakes, don't burn Ming out before he even had a chance to become good.
I did, and disagree with your premise. #1- We play in the Western Conference. Meaning while the other team is going low to a KG/Webber/Duncan/Shaq, you would rather us iso up top with Francis and Mobley shooting 20 ft jumpers off the dribble? #2- Yao makes others around him better. Simply because of his passing ability. Giving him the ball doesn't mean, he is going to shoot it 25 times a game. It just means that he is our best chance at getting a good shot. You can't really say the same about Francis. In fact, Yao is awesome at hitting a slashing Francis to the basket. There is no reason for the Rockets to not be going inside to him. Also, don't tell me when to reply and when not to reply. I might as well have told you not to start this new thread, but to post your thoughts into one of the numerous threads covering this topic. However, I chose not to. I hope you would do the same in the future.
uhhh....why did u start a new thread? you could have used the other one that is complaining on ming needing the ball...like two spaces down...

hmm I cant edit my post...says i dont have permission. . well, here is the other thread where this should be : http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47830
If Ming doesnt get the ball, how he can prove he can hit with "consistency". Plus what's your definition of consistency? I call near 60% pretty good consistency for a center. People here are just frustrated with the fact that Rox has a talened center, who is by the way figging tall, ignored on the offensive end by our guards(diliberately or stupidly). So what's wrong with that. Do we need to always kiss Rox ass no matter what?
