Dear Clutchfans, I usually don't start a thread in the GARM because of the incendiary nature of this board. But enough is enough. Someone has to stand up for this team, for Harden, for Morey, and for the Rockets organization. The amount of hatred and vitriol on this board right now is unprecedented. It makes me sick to my stomach. Posters want to burn and crucify everyone from the owner down to the parking attendant. First, Morey for all his mistakes and analytical flaws is still the singular reason this franchise has kept afloat for 10 years and not sunk to the bottom of the NBA where the wreckage of the truly terrible teams remain. Tell me would you rather be the Nets or the dysfunctional Kings and be happy with perpetual mediocrity for over a decade? Or perhaps you would be happy tanking year after year like the Sixers in the hopes of finally landing a number 1 pick? Secondly, Harden had an off year and was still more productive and efficient than anyone in a Rockets uniform in the past decade. You want him traded? For what? Steven Adams? Bismack Biyombo? What is your wishlist? Most other franchises would kill to land Harden. Name your price and 29 other GMs would happily oblige. This is sheer insanity being suggested on this board. So I'm going to take a stand against all of it. I still believe in Morey. I still believe in Harden. I still believe in the Houston Rockets. Therefore, let's all come together and STOP thrashing our team, our GM, our franchise player, and also ourselves on this board. Thanks, ghettocheeze

Would agree that many teams would kill for Harden to join them I guarantee you they view him and the Rockets in general as a laughingstock. Guarantee it.
It's a surprise how other teams have managed to make the playoffs. Without Morey, they should only be as good as the Nets & Kings. The NBA, where amazing happens.
Criticism is one thing, but this board has turned hostile toward him and everthing he has done to get us where we is now simply washed away by angry posters.

Seems to me it's weak-minded posters who lash out and act like the world's coming to an end when adversity hits. Y'all need to get a grip and move forward. This season was very disappointing, but guess what... it's over. It's a new day moving forward. It's time to regroup, reload, learn from the mistakes and go strong into next season. Look forward to the changes and embrace it.

I hate the amount of disrespect harden and the rockets gets. I always defend them. I just hope next year we prove all these haters wrong
