    STOP THE TRADE TALKS

I THINK WE HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM. IF WE CAN PLAY AS A TEAM AND FUNCTION AS A TEAM WE ARE VERY HARD TO BEAT. WHAT WE LACK IS ENERGY WHEN WE GO OUT AND PLAY. IF WE HAVE THE ENERGY WE HAD AGAINST THE LAKERS AND WHEN WE STARTED OUT AGAINST THE NUGGETS I THINK WE CAN BEAT JUST ABOUT ANYBODY. WE NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE A LEADERSHIP ROLE ON THE TEAM. SOMEONE TO FIRE EVERYONE UP AND GET THEIR HEAD OUT THEIR A$$. I WOULD LOVE A RASHEED OR ARTEST HERE BUT I JUST FEEL THIS TEAM CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.

what we need is yao to start playing like a "real" center get aggressive and nasty.cmon rox vs. lakers and yao is on the bench the last 7 min. jvg with that is b^&&^ slapping him on national tv.

francis and mobley need to stop dribbling so dam much and then i think we are an all around team. the fact is plain and simple "we need to grow up"

the only players i think really play with alot of heart on this team is jj and kato. these 2 are the only consistent ones on the team.

if we get it together we are, in the words of god Hakeem, "unbeatable"

    foul trouble?
with 5 fouls and we're still doing well, why would we need to put him in and take cato/mo out? it depends on who's hot at the moment.

It is interesting. ROX's ugly offense may be due to JJ's inconsistent open-wide shots and CATO's almost zero shots.

I think the this and the creator of this thread are both on unneccessary extremes.

We don't "NEED" a change .. I think this team can and will gel in time and win games. We may even be on a roll come playoff team and do a little damage.

I also disagree with the people that vehemently do not want any trade. I don't care how good you are .. you should always look to improve your team.

If we can make the right deal, then pull the trigger. If the right deal doesn't come along, then we are much better off sticking with what we've got than making a bad trade that is going to hurt us for years to come.

I think our starters are as good as anyone. We have 3 starters in SF, Yao, & Cat that can catch fire and score over 30 pts any given night. I do think we good get more scoring from the bench. Mo T and Pia are our only scoring option and they don't always bring it.

Without fresh faces coming by the trade, the rockets will miss playoff again. NO EXCUSE. period.

jj is more of a factor in the offense than cat. maybe if cat didnt dribble so much and take more shots he would have more of a impact for us. dont get me wrong, if he would do the things he needs to do instead of doing what he thinks will make a highlight he will be a much better player. we need him to mature here with us instead of trading him.

kato should be most improved player this year. he is playing without any fear and with alot of confidence.

    end of discussion......no trades

Dream also never had so many BS calls against him. I mean I remember instances where he'll get WHACKED on the arm without a call, but I don't remember him ever getting called an offensive on a flop by a player of Potapenko's calibre.

Bottom line, anybody who still think we don't need a trade is either EXTREMELY patient or EXTREMELY STUPID. Cuz clearly this lineup is simply not working.
