We should have won the series. I do not disagree with that. But honestly, the knee jerk reactions on this board are crazy. We were just a couple bad bounces away from beating a very good team, that matched up very well with us. That being said, it was very disappointing, but just try to keep some things in perspective.

Yao's defense - Boozer ate him up. But there are about 10 threads right now about how slow he is and how he is such a defensive liability. In this series yes, but Yao was playing great defense before he broke his leg. Thats right, five months ago, a 7'6, 315 pound man broke his leg and now he is playing playoff NBA basketball. Yao did a great job clogging up the paint before he got hurt. His blocks were up, and his ability to change shots was as good as anyone in the league. Give him a chance to fully recover before smashing his defense.

JVG - I have supported him all along. Maybe he needs to go now, but he is not the monster everyone makes him out to be. He won 52 games this year in the West, with Yao missing 33 games and Tmac missing 11 or 12. He convinced Deke and Juwan they could help save our season. He created the Red Rowdies. He defended his player to the tune of a 100K fine. That being said, it probably is best he leaves, but I still think the Rox are in better shape now then when he got here.

Trading Tmac and Yao - They are the cornerstone of this team. They have had three years, but only one of them at good health. Still in the two years they made the playoffs, they took two very good teams to game 7. Now people want them traded, when everyone knows you do not get full value when you trade a superstar. Especially two superstars who are coming off a series when their so called weaknesses were on display. Anyone who thinks we can land Al Jefferson, Oden or Durant, and the Celtics next #1 is crazy.

Just calm down. Let the anger pass, and see how things shape up around draft time before. I doubt there are mad cries in Dallas to trade Dirk or fire Avery.

I agreed with you man. Let us calm down and think clear about the future. JVG is not the best coach out there in this league but he proved that his could win 50 plus game while his two super stars on the injury list and he was recommended for the COY candidates. Never trade your franchise player. Yao was faster and more product in the offensive and defense end before the injury that is why everyone was considering him the running candidate for MVP this year. T-Mac help kept the team in good shape for Yao to get back after the injury and his also deserve the MVP nomination for this year. Only the supporting cast that we have to work on. We only needs one player in our starting role or even comes of the bench who could penetrate and finish the play when needed. We also need to develop our young player as well.
